MeddlesomeYES!!But wasn't that her job description

Oh Dear! Khushi and her meddlesome ways! In the past few days Miss. Gupta not only got on ASR's nerves but she also annoyed the hell out of us with her nosy attitude. That list also includes me.

But if we think about it carefully, wasn't she doing her job? She made it her personal quest to make Lavanya ASR's wife. It really does seem like she was interfering. But isn't that what she was asked to do? Make Lavanya a Bahu! She was appointed by Anjali to teach La the ways of traditional family and the duties of an ideal bahu (remember all the talks about the importance of sindoor, duties of a suhagan etc etc etc). All of that happened right under Nani, Anjali and Mami's nose. ASR had nothing to do with it. He wasn't her employer this time. If she wasn't doing job right why didn't any of them say anything?

They didn't have to because Khushi was doing exactly what she was asked to do by her REAL employer(s).

Khushi wasn't hired to teach La 'HOW TO BE AN IDEAL LIVE-IN GIRLFRIEND'. She was hired to teach 'HOW TO BE AN IDEAL RAIZADA BAHU'. In order to do that wasn't it necessary for La to become would-be Mrs.Raizada?

So what if Khushi took her job way to seriously?

She kept insisting to La that she should convince ASR for marriage. Did La really have to agree with her? No. Khushi did the same with ASR. Did he agree? No.

It was La who had a sudden flash of the future (ASR ditching her for two hot young girls).

Khushi decided to dress her up as a bride. La didn't have agreed because it's not like she was at gunpoint. She could have said no.

Khushi is still trying to bring the two together. That really is interfering. She has no right to barge into an important meeting and write a love letter on someone behalf without permission. But why is she doing it? Is it out of guilt? Or is it because of her friendship? Or is it simply because she trying to fulfill her job description?

i am not blaming La for anything. In fact i truly admire the way her character shaped up. i think the whole concept of training someone sanskar, ideal bahu etc is ridiculous.

But i think Khushi was misguided because her job was misguiding and her employer(s) were also misguided.

It shows how desperate we are to defend Khushi;s action by naming she took her job seriously...

This is my sticking point with what KKG did in the RM with La. Khushi was not brought in to make La into a bahu in the literal sense. She was brought in to teach her the ways of an ideal bahu. The way Anjali is not the RM bahu, but its beti, but acts like she is. Similarly, in the very way that Mami does not act like the RM bahu, even though she is.

No dear. I am not defending Khushi. I am just trying to understand her mindset. Just trying to analyze her actions.

The whole of concept of training someone to be a wife or Bahu is wrong IMO.

Given that Khushi takes everything literally i.e. dressing La up as a dulhan because ASR said he cannot see La as his wife *face palm*, it goes along with all the misguided things she has done and continues to do.

That does not make her behavior any less irritating or irrational. Piecing together a relationship is not in her job description.

i know that really was not her job. But did she know? The ony person who told her off was Arnav. But when has she listened to him.

I don't mind her going after La and ASR after their break up because she feels for the very reason that we are all saying...she realized that she meddled with them too much that's why its her responsibility to fix it...

Yes she feels responsible. But barging into an important meeting is unacceptable. She could have waited for ASR to finish the meeting. There she took it a little too far.

ok... lets assume kushi manages to ask arnav to bring back LA and then she even manages to get them married, do you think LA would ever be happy married to a man who doesnt give a damn abt her? NO... infact kushi is spoiling LAs life and
