Smacks all around

Let the smack a thon begin (all in good fun , I realize this was a bridge episode where they are setting up a revelation, realization, revolution, rewhateva, not much in matter but getting us somewhere).

I want to smack:

Anjali - for being such a dip that she thinks La is the reason for Arnav changing. Where and when exactly did you see her good influence? When he ripped her a new one at the breakfast table or when he said no to her proposal. Somebody get her a map and GPS so she knows what planet she's on.

Mami - for being 'that' kind of mom. You know the one. I will pick for my son the bride who will be subservient to me as that is what counts the most in a daughter-in-law. As for making him happy, why worry, navar phear when Manorama mommy is here. *cue screaming crowds running in opposite direction*

Nani - I have had it with the 'short skirt' comments. Honestly lady, I want someone to traipse around your house in a sari with NO blouse on and when you get offended, I want that person to remind you that this is how Sita, yeah her, spent 14 years and if it's good enough for her...(do not mean to offend, but there is a limit)

La - what is up with the flip flop on the dress. Arnav told her to stop with the chamkelification, and she stopped. Why is she back to it today? She wants to get married now, so she is changing the expectations in their relationship. She cannot force him to accept that.

Khushi - oh she had me going with her smile to ASR. She had me going as she recounted ASR's reaction to seeing La dressed like a bride - how well you know the one who you proclaim to have no interest in, but honestly, if you know him so well, why why why push this marriage button again Khushi? She knows his reaction is going to be bad - that's why she wants to high tail it out of there before he steps in. It is the very definition of crazy - to repeat the same behavior over and over and expect a different outcome.

Arnav Singh Raizada - I was so with you buddy. Gulping down your anger, while your orange sweatshirt (what the hell is up with the wardrobe nowadays - did we borrow stuff from the set of Sesame Street?) gulped down a cup of coffee, saying 'sorry' AGAIN, and resisting the urge to touch her. Folks have problems with what was said to La, but to be truthful, is it that different from what he said before? He is not going to get married, not to her, not to anyone, he cannot envision anyone as his wife. But I could not believe the anger again in the precap. Did Khushi overstep her bounds, yes she did, do you have to go hulking over her in alphamale style, no you don't. I hope she doesn't whimper with tears and defends herself and I hope we don't go back down to the aukat business. Not again, not after the gazebo.

This is a filler episode and a filler post. I am hoping the CV's didn't hit reset on ArHi relationship. That will suck.

[Monsi] ahem.. not that i am thorough in Ramayana.. but i dont remember anywhere mentioned Sita wearing a saree with no blouse 🤔 .. and I would not go into Sita land for a mere show and a silly char like LA. Sita is an example of Woman of Substance, Shakti, Buddhi.. Devi for me in the true sense ... 😊
But got your point.. you cant judge a person by his or her clothes... but didnt Nani ji herself told y'day to LA that just by wearing Salwar and forcing arnav for marriage is not enough to be a sanskari ladki.. she also mentioned few days ago that Sanskar seekhaane se nahin aate.. they come from the upbringing... So Naniji is not completely wrong in her judgement for LA .. may be her comments are not suitable but I give her benefit of doubt seeing her age !!!... But this training is the idea from the DUMBEST RM resident "Anjali Maiyya"... What was she thinking ???

For me Anjali is the dumbest in the show

She is not understanding what her brother and husband really wants

She is over innocent and thinks others are also like that

I think the reason for giving credits to la for ASR's changed behaviour was just to impress nani

But seriously she need to pay some attention on her hubby and bro

Mami thinks she is smart and her son is innocent

It is true to some extend but she have to give more importance to her son's happiness

I think nani is following a policy, those she loves do the right and those she hate or dislikes are always wrong. she have to atleast appreciate La's efforts

When it is about La, I'm really feeling sorry for her

Khushi is playing a role of kabhi smart kabhi dumb. She cant sleep without hearing something rude from ASR

ASR must have to open his mouth and express what he wants before it becomes too late. I think it is the time to break up with La

OMG, ROFL. But it is true. I don't know if it is so dumb. helping La in this instance has a byproduct of making ASR angry. I hope they show that Khushi is able to deal with it now because from today it seems like she knows it's coming. Thanks for your reply. I am still on the floor laughing.
