Someone is getting killed. I hate retyping updates. Sigh. & I was almost finished the first part. I'm sorry everyone.. but my patience is being sorely tested. I guess it's another short update... IF is driving me up the wall right now. & my laptop isn't being kind either. Sigh.

The episode begins with Bua extremely pleased with Khushi's decision. She tells Khushi to run as fast as she can to the office, and then come back just as quickly - shouldn't take longer than two minutes she says. Khushi stifles a giggle, and then turns to Payal, whose eyes are watering, but is smiling nevertheless.
Shyam comes in, bearing prasad and telling Khushi that Devi Maiya is with her. Khushi eats the prasad, but manages to get a piece stuck on the side of her mouth - something Shyam sees, and tries to tell her where it is. Uncomfortable moment until Khushi successfully brushes the piece off her mouth. Shyam then wishes her "all the best" for her day.. he walks off.
Which is when Khushi realises she hasn't written a resignation letter. She sits down and begins to draft it, when Payal comes in and side hugs her. A conversation regarding Khushi's decision begins, and it's evident that Payal is more than just a little bit worried. Khushi tries to alleviate Payal's stress levels, but Payal doesn't buy Khushi's reasoning. So Khushi resorts to imitating Bua, and although it gets a laugh out of her older sister, it isn't enough. PayShi hug once more, and Payal tightens the hug... Khushi frowns, not knowing what to do.
Elsewhere, Arnav has just rocked up to work... and overhears his girlfriend and her cronies talking about "Chamkili". His anger is paramount as he walks in, much to the chagrin of the other three. (I must admit, I got a kick out of seeing the girls trying to straighten their dresses/tops. Serves 'em right.)
He addresses the cronies first, and asks them what they're paid for. They scamper out of the room, leaving his girlfriend standing there slightly worried, but mostly angry. He asks about the calendar, and she says she's working on it... he turns to walk away, and she grabs hold of him. She asks him about Nani, and his anger begins to boil. He tightly tells her that he's trying to rectify the mistake she caused when meeting Nani. His girlfriend doesn't understand, but Arnav silences her with a look and begins to walk out.
He stops when he hears her blaming "Chamkili" for her issues. Arnav turns back, and tells her that after today, he doesn't want to hear the name "Chamkili" in the office at all. She has a name - Khushi Kumari Gupta - and they better use it. He walks off... and his girlfriend begins stewing, and stamps her foot. Her cronies try calming her down, but its of no use. The damage is done.
Meanwhile, Khushi has stepped into the ASRbuilding, and remembers how Arnav "saved" her. She takes the resignation letter out of her bag, and resolutely walks further into the building, not allowing any feelings she might have to stop her from what she set out to do.
On his way to his office, he receives a call from Mami, who says something about Anjali - Arnav is in shock, and begins walking downstairs. It's another case of hit and miss, where Khushi bumps into someone - but it isn't Arnav. Arnav walks out of the building, and Khushi goes looking for him.
In the cafeteria, the cronies are trying to get Arnav's girlfriend to drink some coffee... which she finally decides to do.. until Manju calls out for Khushi. Khushi stands in front of the cafeteria, and calmly asks the trio where Arnav is. (Okay, this is probably my favourite part of the episode.. so as a treat for all of you, I'm going to provide a translation of the dialogue. Keep in mind that Hindi isn't my first language, so some words may be omitted. The basic gist is there though.)
Arnav's GF: We were missing you.. where were you the whole of yesterday? And is this a time to come into work?
Khushi: Where is Arnav Singh Raizada?
GF: (stands up angrily) WHAT?
K: I am told that in this office, nothing gets repeated. But for you, I shall repeat myself. Where is Arnav Singh Raizada?
GF: Why do you want to meet ASR? Leaving the job?
K: Yes.
Trio: *nonsense about Khushi leaving*
K: I'm from Lucknow, which is why I haven't left in hiding; in fact I'm here to let you know that this job isn't to my liking. (faces one of the cronies - Pam. *narrator shudders*) My upbringing has taught me that I should complete a job with pride... but what would you know? Working in pride is something only people with a proper upbringing get - and you spend your time imitating [Arnav's GF].
Cronie #2: Don't think of yourself as smart Chamkili.
K: I don't think that. Because I know who I am, and I'm happy with who I am. But you need to stand in front of the mirror and ask yourself who you are. Because if you did, you wouldn't be hiding this locket you wear everyday. You need to bring out what's in your heart onto your face, only then will you realise what Khushi Kumari Gupta is trying to tell you.
GF: ENOUGH Khushi! If you are leaving the job, give me your resignation letter. ASR has left already, and anyway, whenever you're near him, your mouth never opens... and here you are talking all big.
K: I'm only going to give this letter to who I signed the contract with. He started this game, I will finish it.
GF: Oh really? Why can't you just come out and say that you've lost?
K: (looks at whiteboard) What do you think? That life is only about this winning&losing? No Lavanya ji, there is a life outside this office, and I've already decided I don't want to be a part of this. The winning&losing hold no importance for me anymore... you should come to Lucknow one day, I'll show you how life is lived.
Khushi walks away, head held high.
At the RM, Anjali is in bed, and everyone is fussing over her, trying to make her drink milk - but she's fasting. Arnav comes inside the room, and questions what's going on. With a running commentary from Mami, Arnav ascertains that Anjali became weak from making Arnav food, and she fainted. She's fasting, but no reason is given why.
Nani & Arnav butt heads once more, but Arnav makes it clear that until Anjali is better, he will not talk to Nani about that particular issue. Nani leaves, and Mami follows. Mama answers a call from Akash, and reassures his son that Anjali will be fine. He leaves as well.
Brother and sister sit there... and Anjali finally tells Arnav that she can't deal with this anymore. She cannot sit there and see her brother's anger, especially when it's directed at his Nani. She can't keep the peace any longer, and she wishes that there was still someone who could - their parents. Arnav clenches his fist in anger at hearing his parents mentioned, but when he turns to his sister, he sees her crying.
& he is shocked beyond anything. He wipes her tears away, and tells her (yes, my other favourite bit - Anjali&Arnav are the cutest sibling pair yet):
"Di, you have never... never let me feel the absence of anyone, not even Maa and Papa. You are my family. You're everything. I can't see tears in your eyes. For you I will fight the world, and I will go to any length for you."

Precap: Arnav receives a call from the guard outside who tells him that Khushi wants to see him. Shocked, Arnav tells the guard to allow Khushi entrance, and wonders why she's come now?
