STEPS 9, 10, 11 and 12
Love Is Destiny
Author: Venus Emerald May Nobody could ever find love
It is love that looks after us.
And if it finds us
There's no way to escape.
It doesn't choose nor
Force someone to love
Love is indeed a destiny.
Many says love comes,
Love goes.
Others tell that love has its own time
Of knocking at your door.
Yet love finds a way
To tell you it is right,
For love is truly a destiny.
OMG. I read this poem long time ago when my friend asked me to read it, and I was waiting for an opportunity to type this here, because it's just so apt! Esp. after today's "door wala scene!" (though it has a different meaning altogether, but yes, I finally got my opportunity!) Hope you'll like it!
Now this post is for the Mahaepisode

and today's episode. I have combined them because if i just write about the mahaepisode, it'll be nasty! haha! So here goes..
The Mahaepisode started off with Ar and Kh having breakfast, and Ar staring her down as if it'll make her vanish off. Kh blurted out all of her secrets to naniji, and Ar when he came back, was rude to her. When naniji defended her honour, Ar looked down (in shame?), while Kh did him a favour and subtly changed the topic to save him from his shameful moment. But i guess Ar's ego got hurt when nani defended her. so we walked out of the place and gave Kh a piece of his mind. what he said, in his anger, was to spite her because he thought of her a someone who is here to take advantage of him, his power, his money. Not only that he even takes it a notch higher, and makes references to the difference in their social statuses, again. back at the office when he comes to know of what Kh disclosed to nani, he again makes references to their social status and even outrightly says it to her that she was not satisfied with her efforts is catching his eyes so she thought that the best way was to break them up so that she could have this rich guy all to herself. what an idiot.
SUSPICIONS, ASSUMPTIONS, AND ULTIMATELY BELITTLING, OUT OF SPITE! STEP 9 TAKEN.
"Love is of all passions the strongest, for it attacks simultaneously the head, the heart and the senses" ~ Lao Tzu
Arnav (pov): damn this girl toh mera peecha hi nahin chodti! my lucknow fashion right after one of my most important days (i kicked out chachaji from the same house that he kicked me out of!), my one once in a blue moon visit to the mosque, my once in a blue moon going back to my home earlier than usual, the day when i was showing off my company to important clients, my office, my dreams, MY BLOODY LIFE!!!
So that's what he's most probably thinking, and with much passion too! So our Ar babu did the one thing that made sense to him. GET HER OUT OF HIS SIGHT.
"The Heart has reasons, that reason cannot understand" ~ Jacques Benique Bossuel
A very famous quote, and very apt in this situation and many other situation when one falls in love but doesn't understand it, which is why whatever makes sense to him is all falesehood, because we all know that the heart is forever making a fool out of the head!
Thus, Ar listened to what his head said, since he cannot comprehend the French his heart spoke (French because, it's France's language and Paris is the most romantic place on earth!), thereby finishing STEP 10, which is to listen to the head, trying to find fault in what the heart said.
Coming to today's episode, well, I'm much happier than the whole weekend, cos my TV was short circuited when ArHi came on, esp the push against the wall!!! *swoons*
Anyways, back to my analysis!
STEP 11, VERY WILLINGLY TAKEN, REPENTANCE.
Yes, Arnav did feel bad for sending the poor girl there esp. after his harsh words, thus the panic in his demeanour when he tried to call. His ears perked up when mami said KHUSHI, and he focused on what she said. He paled when he heard that Kh has not reached home. He panicked, trying to call her number, and when he did not reach her, he donned his shinning armour and went out to look for her, by himself. He verbally lashed out on that employer of his for not taking care of Khushi (Note: he said Khushi, not Ms Gupta, not Ms Khushi Kumari Gupta, but Khushi, like she's his own). On his way, I'm sure he was regretting what he wished for, which was to not see her face! You know what they says Arnav Babu, be careful what you wish for, or else you might repent for it later.
STEP 12 TAKEN, WITH MUCH GALLANTRY, TO SAVE HIS DAMSEL IN DISTRESS.
He knows, that coming here to rescue someone that didn't mean much to him (as he quite forcefully made himself believe that during his inner battle session), was also putting his "great" life in risk. But he did come here to save someone who actually means a lot to him already (soon she would mean the world to him). He did come for the one person outside his family that he would one day do anything for. He came for the one to whom his heart calls to. He went out in this dangerous place to look for the one with whom his destiny is sealed with. He went there for Khushi, formerly known as Ms Khushi Kumari Gupta, his soulmate.
Upon reaching that place, without caring about his designer shoes, his designer clothes, his high social status, his LIFE, he was frantically trying to look for her. He soon found her bag and her cell phone, and his worst nightmare came to life. SHE'S HERE. He screams out for her which initially came out as a strangled one, and Khushi heard him, and tried to bang the door. He did not hear her, her voice so meek, so defeated. she must have thought she was imagining things. Ar then tried to figure out a way to go upstairs as she could have been there. He got to THE door but ignored it thinking, she couldn't have been here, was going to go upstairs when he heard a blood-curdling scream of a woman. He went back to the same door he ignored and opened it with the raw power he has and found her, curled up in ball, all defeated. Let's look at this scene as I found it to be so symbolic. Ar ignores what his heart desires, and listens to what his head thinks right. His head probably told him why on earth would she be here, the door is properly locked with no way to enter it. His heart wanted him to open that door but he listened to his head. What if she had not screamed? He would have regretted not listening to his heart nah? Plus it's Kh that his desires, but this fella is busy trying to reason with the situation.
Well when he banged open the door, he felt relieved to find her there. Kh was astonished to see him there. More like frozen with shock. Ar's heart skipped a beat when he saw the roof and ceiling a bit shaky, so he rushed to her and grabbed her hand. But this guy finds the oddest times to stare at her beauty with her hair let down. She's like a breath of fresh air in the stench of arrogance, wealth, attention, fake character that he lives in. He then dragged her out of this god-awful "guest house". But Kh after she revived from her shock realised it was ASR that is here and she gets her hand out of his in a snap and stares murderously at him. If Kh didn't loathe him from every fiber in her body already, she definitely did now. She couldn't believe the nerve of him to endanger someone's life that he "hated" so much. Ar realised a bit of the potential landslide that was about to occur, so he closed his eyes and braced himself. He turned around and said, "dekho mujhe pata nahin tha ki.."
BAM! she pushes him! FINALLY, some of that anger that was bottled up within her came out in that push. the rest of it came later on with more pushes and dialogues. Now let's analyse what she said and Ar's reaction to it.
1. Kh pushes him.
Ar was left stupefied to see such rage from a generally meek, scared-to-the-bones girl. plus, nobody ever raised their hands against him!
2. Kh: Aapko pata nahin tha? aise kaise ho sakta? aap toh bhagwaan hai nah?
Ar: (thinking) shit. you caught me.
3. Ar: (very gently with much patience, which he generally lacks) Khushi meri baat suno (guys, note, Khushi, not Khushi Kumari Gupta, or Ms Gupta, almost like he's talking to someone he knows, with a lot of attachment of some sort?)
4. Kh: nahin Mr Arnav Singh Raizada (as opposed to Ar's address to her as khushi, Kh removed every bit of attachment he previously put with that Mr and saying out his name)
Ar: (i think i saw him move back a bit? woah. Ar backed out slighly!)
5. Kh: Khushi umari Gupta ne bahut sun liya hai (note the detachment here too!) Ab aap suniye. Aur suneki aadat nahin hai toh aadat daal dijiye.
Ar: (thinking) woah. back at my face. meri dialogue mujhpe hi maar rahi hai?
6. Kh: Aadat daal dijiye ki sirf paisa hi insan ko bolne ka haq nahin deta.
Ar: Uh Oh.
7. Kh: Aadat daal dijiye ki aukat se badhkar bhi insan ki koi pehchan hoti hai. par apke liye sirf paisa bhagwaan hai.
Ar: uh oh. i'm gonna be dead by the blow of her words itself.
8. Kh: aadat daal dijiye ki Mr Arnav Singh Raizada ki ek choti aukat ki ladki, ek chote haisiyat ki ladki, aaj apko yeh batane ki zoorrat kar rahi hai ki... sirf aapka gussa nahin, apki puri zindagi galat buniyad par bani hai.
Ar: (looks down shame-faced. he knows) damn why does she always have to be so spot on?
9. Kh: jabse aap humein mile hain tabse aap humein apni haisiyat aur aukat ki yaad dilate aa rahe hain.
Ar: (regretful face? probably apologising to her?)
10. Kh: apko kya lagta hai (push!) humara insult nahin hota? humara koi aatma-samman nahin hai?
Ar: woah there lady. you're getting too far with ur pushes here. back down.
11.Kh: humara koi parivaar nahin hai? Apka personal life, personal life hai? aur humari koi zindagi nahin hai?
Ar: woah. she's bloody angry. but that push was way out of line.
12. Kh: apke gharwalon ko koi takleef na ho, aur humare harwalon ka kya haal hua hoga?
Ar: speechless
13. Kh: ro ro kar humari jiji ka haal bura hua hoga
Ar: trying to get back his speech
14: Kh: par aapko kya? apko apne ilava koi aur dikhta hi nahin hai. (push)
Ar: OKAY THAT'S IT.
he grabs her hand and pushes her against the wall, staring down at her, as if to intimidate her. but this time Kh stares back at him with equal defiance. gone are those days when used to be scared of him, his power over her, his physical strength. a new khushi emerges. a khushi who will continue to believe in her principles, and will be afraid of this man, cos she had her moment too close to death. this man is nothing compared to the time passed away in that damned room. i think he was surprised to see her this defiant, and not scared of him at all. poor thing. he doesn't realise that this is just the beginning!
btw, did anyone notice the buzzing electricity between them in this scene. man Barun is... omg, i'm having besharam thoughts!
okay time for some extras and bloopers!
EXTRAS -
1. during ME anjali noticed his weird behaviour towards khushi. hmmm, anjali is getting hints of what could possibly be... something?
2. mami never fails to add spice to any not-so-dramatic scene and turn it into a dynamite! this woman is a grey character i believe. she could be the Lady Catherine de Bourgh for this story! and she should stick herself to her mirror only!
BLOOPERS -
1. the roof fell, but there was still another roof there!
okay! that's it! enjoy reading!
