A new beginning
How , what ? Arnav said looking at Akash in confusion .
Payal , Khushi sister rang the office saying ,that she hasn't come home.
This is all my fault , Arnav thought to himself, if I had learnt to control my temper , then Khushi would not be missing . It's all my fault , how stupid could I be .
Akash , you and go ring the police , I'll try and contact Khushi on her mobile , Arnav picked up the phone , ready to dial, when his mobile started to vibrate. The screen lit .For a second both brothers look at each other , then Arnav dropped the phone and grabbed the mobile off the table .
Akash looked at his brother , what is going on , why isn't he saying anything?
Arnav , his mouth slghtly open and nodded ever so often . He ended the call on his mobile .
Akash , he's got Khushi , but I have heard that voice somewhere before , Arnav tried to think why that voice had sounded so familiar.
Bhai , what's happened?
Why is my mind going into overdrive . The man on the other end says he has got Khushi at some abandoned warehouse , by the old markets in Delhi.
Bhai I think , I know where it is .
What are we waiting for then Akash, both brothers stormed out of the Raizada's office and went to the 'location' which the kidnapper had told Arnav on the phone.
Meanwhile in the derelict warehouse, Khushi , felt exhausted ,down trodden and beaten. Ever since I have come here to Delhi, everything has been on a downwards spiral.
I have no job , no security , buaji has so many problems, at least me working brought some money to the house , but now. Khushi leant back against the post . Who i going to hep me know . Khushi screamed Help! Help!
Poor Khushi , the damsel in distress . Khushi could not believe who was standing in front of her . Shyam , she said . Khushi shocked to the core , could not picture it , her kidnapper Shyam .
Shyam , the one who rescued her from the goondas in Lucknow . The one who stayed with us , Bua took him in from her goodness from her heart and he kidnapped me!
Shyamji , why have you done this ? What have we done . Khushi wanted to lunge forward but could not as she was tied up.
Shyam just laughed , oh Khushi , its not you that i'm in interested in , you are just part of my plan.
Confused , Khushi mind kept spinning , what plan is he on about .
What are you on about ? Shyam tell me , but he walked off away from her, but before Shyam went away , he said Khushiji , he mocklingly called her , I suggest you be quiet , from now on or else ,him over there he side glanced to his right hand side , he will pay very severly
Khushi could not see who Shyam was on about , as he was blocking her view . Khushi , feeling defeated , sighed and closed her eyes . Devi mai , please send someone to rescue me.
Unknowingly to Khushi , Arnav had arrived to save her .
Shyam,you I can't believe it! You have destroyed our lives before , why Khushi, now leave her , let her go . Arnav felt his head was about to explode with anger ,
Shyam , cackled with laughter , his eyes filled with evil , and coldness . Look who it is the great Arnav Singh Raizada , pleading for a girl , who he defamed in Lucknow .
Now this girl is 'suddenly' means a lot. I knew you would fall for someone like Khushi , I mean what's not to like about her . Shyam smirked .
But I have no interest in this girl , Shyam said
Oh yeah , let her go , the way you kicked me out of the house, it is time for me to take what is mine .
Yours! , oh no , nothing is yours Arnav shouted . He thought this sly , idiotic of man was out of their lives , he could not forgive what he had done to his di. This monster was back , but this time making Khushi life miserable .
You and your chachaji are just pure evil, I would not even call you an human being . You deserved everything you got . Di is my life , and you completely wrecked her , she is everything to me ,but you wooed her , charmed us all . Married her , but you were not interested in her , but just her wealth . I always thought you were such a snake.
Then , Shyam punched Aranv and sent him flying across the room , You Raizada's think you are high and mighty , gods grace .
Oh this this twit , is in it for now , Arnav quickly got up from the floor and was about to hit Shyam , when he saw Khushi slumped in the corner . Help me? , Help me? Khushi said repeatdely.
Khushi, I am coming ,Arnav was about to step forward , when Shyam said Wait. Arnav turned around to face SHyam . What is it , I have to help Khushi .

It is all my fault that Khushi is here , if had not lost my temper , if i had not deframed , she would not be used as a pawn in SHyam's plans.
Khushi screamed , No don't , Arnav don't , nevertheless both men walked out from Khushi sight .She wept and sobbed , hai devi mai , why is Arnav agreeing with him , why can't Arnav not try and act the hero all the time .
A thickening loud , bang echoed through out the room. Nooo Khushi screamed, she crouched on the floor , feeling helpless , as she could not move , as she was tied up against the post . Hai Devi mai , please help me .
An eternity passed by , the water dripped , silence through out the abandoned warehouse . Suddenly she heard a familiar voice , she opened her eyes and saw her family standing in front of her .
Payal bent down and freed Khushi from the rope, she hugged her jeeji and bua.
Khushi , Payal ,please forgive me . I should have not let Shyam come into our lives.
Buaji , this is not your fault you were not to know about this .Look Bua , I am fine , but ,
Where is he , where is Arnav, I heard a bang . Akash stood a few feet away from the Gupta's , look over there he said ,pointing over the far corner . Arnav stood with a towel pressed against his head to stop the bleeding.
Suddenly , Khushi ran towards Arnav ,she overcame so much emotion , that she hugged him , which she hugged him so tightly that he could not breath . He responded and hugged her back .
Khushi , I am fine , why are you getting so upset. He is gone no one can hurt you .
Trust him , to say that . You idiot she gently hit Arnav against his chest , half laughing and half crying. I thought , I lost you . How do I explain to him , that I could not live with myself if something had happened to him .
Arnav let go of Khushi , and looked at her bewildered . Khushi really that scared for me .
What?! you were worried for me , It should be me that is worried for you .
Don't act so surprised her eyes narrowed . But just for a minute I thought ...
Well , you thought wrong , didn't you Khushi , you cant get rid of me that easily .
Khushi started to sob once more , you may be a rakhas but I would not change you for the world Mr Arnav Singh Raizada, because you are my rakhass ,Khushi said as she broke out into a wide smile . Arnav looked ar Khushi . This girl from Lucknow , who entered thundering into his life , had now become a special part of his life. For the first time , since he could remember , he smiled , not a smirk but a smile . Arnav looked up at the night sky , where the stars were twinkling in the far distance.
Thank you mum for sending Khushi into my life , because she is the one...
