I used to want a relationship with no strings attached, but then I realized the strings are what holds a real relationship together. - Anonymous
Interestingly various relationships in the show I find are either in strings attached or not so attached kind of relationships or were as I say!!
Shlok-Aastha: Shlok bound Aastha to himself by tying a black thread which he said it is like a mangalsutra to him at mandir marriage. He later broke the same thread to shatter her dreams and break her heart. In fact she nurtured his broken heart and stayed with him thru the thick & thin even during the whole Swathi saga when he needed her the most. Another 2 times both of them vowed to stay with each other all thru the life or for 7 lives ...once when Shlok tied the same thread to her while apologizing to her and another time she placed a mala on him. I see these flowers in the mala as their immense love for each other and the thread to be the bond which will tie them together forever. After this rope ACT which is though cliched and old fashioned ...that string of bond might have weakened but not broken yet.
Leave all these strings đ..now the main manipulator is diabolically playing with both of them by pulling their heart's strings and making them dance to his tunesđĄ. Who will win at the end? Of course true love wins but at what cost has to be seen!!
NA- Anjali: Anjali has always been a marionette in the hands of Niranjan Agnihotri; he is the master puppeteer who would like to pull the strings and make her do all the dirty work for him where he can play at saint. This rope 'ACT' has awaken the tigress and her inner voice has started to speak up. The voice of concern, the voice of rights and the voice of motherly affection is provoked due to this. She who has always placed a wife's place above all relationships has spoken first time ever when Jyothi was being dragged by Abhay and now when Aastha needed support in the dire consequences. She has understood that she was after all a door mat all these years and that she was just 'existing' & not 'living' her life. But how long her strength will stay intact has to be seen. NA will use every rule in his book - Saam, daan, Dand, bhed... as he says to bring her back to his side. Can she break this bond permanently?
Varad- Sojal- Mansi: Varad & Sojal are bonded together due to matrimony where that 'mangalsutra' is just a mere adornment for her..she is more of a materialistic person. Recently Varad has been observing his siblings love for their better halves and is also longing for such love in his life. But he is a coward still and is not thinking about divorcing Sojal yet..is it the society that he is worried about or their little daughter Kavya? Looks like he wants a 'No-strings' attached kind of relationship with Mansi. Mansi who is an emotionally weak person & yearns for a beautiful family is becoming possessive, obsessive of him recently and want to come out of that 'No expectations' relationship. She wants him to acknowledge this relationship in front of the society as she got offended when he said she is merely a 'FRIEND'!! She wants him to spend time and stay with her all the time. Sojal on the other hand cares less..and till now she was fulfilling her DIL duties due to Anjali..now that Anjali has moved to other side of the house; she feels she is not answerable to anyone and is having a gala time wither gossiping or shopping. She would get a jolt soon. Out of all this mess who is suffering?! little kavya!!
Sid- Jyothi: Jyothi broke the shackles...and broke the mangalsutra..the string which is tying her to Abhay to break free out of that abused relationship. When Sid-Jyothi's relationship started it was also a no expectations kind of one but it grew stronger day by day. Now that they are bounded together by matrimony ..a whole set of new problems arise ...a baby for Jyothi from previous marriage , a nagging MIL ..etc. ,etc.,
