as for myself i have gone through this phase and just recently recovered, i had high expectations from this show, i just could not accept the way they handled the story and certain tracks, but in between there came amazing performances, i have just have to let go because i could do nothing about it and it was beyond my control, i would like a tight story and charaters to be sketched out nicely i dont know may be trps are the problem cant say what the trp viewers want, the story may have changed from the initial conceived one because once this aditi entered, the actor playing swati in the flashback changed, it may be to accomodate the actor who played aditi
i just cant do anything about this , i have complained at times, but just waiting for the 200 th or 250 th episode when the jyoti track will come in play and there will be another twist when NA will come to know about jyoti at kirloskar house, i hope the story writers handle upcoming tracks without mess
just like majority, i am willing to forget about the aditi track
i would have hoped that the writers had handled astha's characterization well after the divorce filing track but i guess she is written like that, because i think she herself wanted to settle down with a "rajkumar" type husband (she dreamed about shlok many times before wedding) and was not herself very career minded, she was doing it for kalindi, so when she saw a hope with shlok, she is trying to adjust, she is to adamant to leave her dream of having setting up a household with shlok, yesterday i rewatched the SR episode, there she was crying why she did not listen to her ayi, i think she must be a hard core romantic, and shlok has been shown repeated playing a hero for her (numerous saving attemps) i dont think she understands love yet, it well may be her infatuation, she has not gone through infatuation phase with any one before and shlok is her first, so she is not willing to let her " lovestory" unfinished, she is also very filmy, she wants filmy romance, and she backs off when shlok or circumstances rebuff her but she springs back as soon as she sees a opening for having her "dreams" fulfilled, i dont think she knows about esteem, and all yet but then that's perfect for shlok who himself is a male chauvinist, he tried to change for swati (who seemed like a head strong girl in initial flashbacks) but i think he is more comfortable with astha as he can be himself the way astha is, whose life now completely revolves around shlok. i am not saying that astha is right or wrong, this is how i see her, i know that i myself would not be able to behave with shlok in the manner astha behaves, but i have seen girls like her in my native village, a few of my distant cousins, whose only dream is to settle down with a well to do guy and family, usually in a joint family, they dont have any goals as in career, so they have to be kind of subservient in the joint family, i know astha has a mother with different thought process, but that's how she is shown ,

i think exactly u put astha well ,she is veryyy immature & also age wise i guess ,she is chasing her dream that shlokie is a rajkumar ,a prince charming actually ,when he is not
when she read his diary she thought ok this prince exists in shlokie ,so she is trying to chase that prince that she had dream of ,thats why from then she forgot about her esteem bcoz she is chasing a dream & her dream is close to her now that swati is dead ,she also loves shlokie but now i guess more than love she is in mission of getting her dream fulfilled ,thats why she wants that shlokie back which was in fakey period before marriage
i dont know why people call shlokie swati love story immature teeny love or infatuation & astha shlokie love mature when i think astha is far more immature than swati herself ,the only reason this relationship is working is bcoz astha sacrificed her esteem while swati did not
so shlokie can adjust well with astha than swati but i wont say astha shloke as mature ,its more of sacrificing ,compromising things from astha's side bcoz like u said she is chasing a dream
but if her dreams gets fulfilled then story is finish 😆 ,thats why i guess she will get some shock by which her dream that she is still keeping will be broken again , hopefully she will become mature more & she will get that idea that shlokie is not a prince but a simple male chauvinsit man who still has his share of flaws ,i dont think shlokie can be the guy of diary he was for swati for astha again like she is very much expecting & thats why she is pushing him
i do hope they give some twist so that astha stops chasing dream ,some dream should not be chased ,it has to come by own when it has to
astha never had infatuation or love before thats why she doesnt know or cannot compare like shlokie can do ,so i guess somewhere down the line she will meet someone where she can compare if the show goes for 2-3 years
