Hi guys, quite confused with the swati sargar and the whole concept of anger, betrayal and grievance...which is the foundation of shlocks character...and this story
I believe that shlock loved Swati dearly...he thought she betrayed him by wanting to end the relationship for whatever reasons that we dont know yet. He was angry at her but never bothered to track her down...even though he probably had the means to do so...he also tells his mum that what happened to swati would not happen to aastha cause he will protect her...so he knows it wasnt all swati's fault that she walked away...
So anyway, for so many years after swati left he was still in love with her despite being angry with her (as we know from the flashbacks he asks why she left him when he was drunk or delirious) He refused to love again. So he loved swati, and didnt move on from that relationship and the emotions that came with it.
Now, i'm no psychologist but seeing the girl who you loved so dearly, and then realising she never stopped loving you and then seeing her die in front of your eyes...cannot surely be closure?????? If anything that would traumatize you beyond anything you previously felt...If our shlock could not even handle his ex gf leaving him, then surely swati dying in front of his eyes will be to much for him to come to terms with...surely dancing in different get ups to cheer him up is not going to work...if anything i think it is childish. Surely now he would feel major REGRET and the grievance would go on. If i was shlock i would personally feel worse that the girl of my dreams was innocent, and he wasted so many years being angry at her and then end up seeing her die in front of his eyes...i think it would be more traumatic than a gf having a fight with her bf and then leaving...if he couldnt cope with her leaving he couldnt possibly cope with her sudden death...
i think this track is not going to give shlock the closure they might be trying to portray...realistically, it would traumatize him more...and aastha needs to understand the depth of this tragedy and emotions involved...dance sequence to me is a joke
