It was 7 in the morning.
Shlok was up from his bed. And was getting ready for college. He could hear his baba coming back from his morning jog, and handing over the milk packet to his aayi.
Anjali : shlok... Breakfast is ready beta.
Shlok : I'll be down in a minute aayi
[shlok quickly got ready, went down stairs. His baba also joined his for breakfast]
NA : shlok.. aaj itna jaldi kyu jaa rahe ho?
Shlok : baba its freshers day at our college today. Am in the coordinating committee. So have to leave earlier than usuall.
NA : its not an event to rag them right?
Anjali : shlok. Promise me you wont be raging any one
Shlok : no mom. This is not for that. Its just to get the freshers introduced to the whole college. And we will just be doing some funny things. under the teachers supervision.
Anjali : tab teek he.
Shlok : okay, aayi bye.. bye baba, see you guys in the evening.
In the college auditorium where the freshers day event was going to take place, was full. The first 10 rows of both sides were reserved for freshers. And the seniors were seated at the back side. Shlok and his friends were busy in the last minute preparations. Astha and her friends were coming towards the auditorium. Only the front row was left unseated. They sat there. Sojal was very scared and was holding onto astha's hand for support.
Sojal : astha I am so scared. What are they going to make us do?
Astha : how do I know
Sojal : toh pata lagao na...
Astha : shut up sojal. Now come lets sit down.
[astha dragged sojal toward their seat. After settling down astha looked up at the stage to see the decorations. That's when she saw him. He was busy in preparations. Astha frozed at the moment. She couldn't move her eyes. She remembered the words he said to her that day. That irked her. Anger filled in her heart. She was now staring at him with furious eyes. Then she saw him walking towards the end of the stage. He slightly pulled someone's shoulder. A handsome guy turned around. Astha could see the new guy asking "what is it" to him. He then pointed his fingers towards her and said something. The new guy gave a nod in approval. That's when the reality hit her hard. He was talking about her. Now she knew one thing, this was definitely going to be tough for her. ]
