Read Amitabh's blog about Shashi Kapoor and the memory of our meeting came alive... I met Shashi Kapoor and had coffee with him when I was just 14 and he was in prime of his career ...I remember him as handsome, very tall, very fair, all pink...

He gave me complex on my fairness and I must have given him complex about his fame... I must be the only person whom he urged to take his autograph, " Le bhi lo" he had said with a heartwarming laugh; when I said, "why should I give my book for his autograph?" ...

True humility at heart that he didn't mind a young girl not feeling absolute fan of his and thinking of herself as no lesser than him... no airs whatsoever about his stardom... my heart prays to God for his soul today... beside Barun.
