Standing in the balcony with a bottle of what it seemed to be like tequila that was caged in her hand with brutal force almost as if she was suffocating it,she admired the view that was presented before her.She could faintly hear the music of song that was currently played in the party downstair.Leaning towards the railing and shifting some of her weight to it ,she placed her hands on it ,following those luminous city lights that were twinkling before her.
"Why aren't you at the party"
A sudden gravelly yet familiar voice called out.He observed her slightly bent figure as he sauntered in her direction.His eyes carefully regarded all her movements.
"The question is Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be the party boy oops Man"
She chuckled bitterly as Advay came in the line of her vision.Out of all the time she wanted to be alone ,he chose this exact time to follow her.
"I came to find you"
His breathy voice hit her like stones ,knocking the air out of her chest.He was completely oblivious to all the things that were running in her mind,fogging it with clouds of doubt.His dark mahogany orbs shinned under the twinkling lights as stepped closer to her.
"You shoudn't be here"
She spoke out loud ,biting her tongue in the process.For her Advay was everything she could never have.In order to have Advay ,she had already burned herself bad, not just once.
"Why ?"
Advay was taken aback from her harsh tone,there had to be something awfully wrong with her.He couldn't just pin point.
"Just because"
She didn't bother to supply him a satisfactory reply, her voice was just as chilly as the winters breeze.Advay couldn't hold back his surprising reaction from her indifferent behaviour.He could almost feel the same bitterness in her tone that once he used to carry.
"Chandni,I have to say something"
He finally steered in the direction for what he has came all the way up here.For once he was sure of what he wanted in his life.He wanted ,no needed her to be in his life.He finally decided to chuck off his rude jerk persona and ask for her forgiveness.
"I am leaving to Manchester, I have a flight in early morning"
She spurted out in a jiffy knowing well where this conversation was heading.She didn't want to be back on the confusion track they were trapped in.She has already decided to move on from this relationship as well as Advay and Advay's words will do nothing but weaken her decision.She couldn't afford that at least not at this point.
"What ?"Why didn't you tell me before"
He looked like he was struck hard with lightening.His voice croaked at the end.
"If you weren't dead set on avoiding me like a plague and making me miserable then you'd have known this fact.Everyone knows"
Her voice seemed to mechanical without a trace of emotion.He stared at her
with ineffable expression,his voice was caught in his throat.Realization dawned upon him like a hard cold bucket of water as he thought of times when he avoided her ,insulted her just because his emotions were a mess.He was stringing her all along with him.
Her dark chocolate orbs roamed everywhere except at his direction.She had tried every single thing to work out whatever it was between them but she was too.much hurt to continue that now.Advay on the other hand was still as a stone statue,introspecting his own rash deeds,he was so used to pushing everything away that he never fully acknowledged of what he really needed.He had her heart yet he himself crushed it in millions of pieces.And now that he was finally sure of something and that something being Chandni ,she is leaving.
"I'll get going,I have to pack"
She barely whispered, her eyes moistened at the sight of Advay's crumpled expressions.Placing the bottle nearby ,she turned to leave.Curling his fingers around her wrist ,he made her halt in her steps.
"Be with me"
She stared at him with a raised eyebrow.His words not making any sense to her.She could feel the vein pulsating roughly against her neck.
"Advay..."
She began explaining only to be cut of by him
"Just this party.Stay with me"
A look.of confusion smeared over her features ,the more she wanted to take a leave from here the hard was he trying to make her stay.Words were stuck in her throat and no matter how hard she tried ,she couldn't get the words to spit out from her mouth.He still had the power to make her tongue tied.
Grabbing her other hand too ,he brought them behind his neck with his hands encircling her waist loosely and swayed lightly on the faint music that could be heard all the way up here.
"Why are you doing this ?"
She voiced out her thoughts finally getting the words out of her mouth.Her desire to leave was weakening bit by bit.How can she leave when this guy in front of her was making it a hell lot difficult for her.The tender yet vulnerable look on his face was enough to thump all her decisions into dirt pile.
"I want to remember this ,not your pained expression and tears.I want to feel this"
His voice barely reached her ears , his grip tightening on her waist ,pulling her into him.His soft breath fanned her face as he dipped his head low.She immediately reacted to his touch ,tightening her own grip onto him, resting her head on his firm chest.
"Don't leave"
Advay whispered ,tucking his chin above her head, his heart thudded hard against his chest.His words stunned her to some extent ,she could his heart hammering against her head.She opened her mouth to immediately reason her decision.But he was already speaking ,continuing what he started .
"I know this won't be able to convince you ,not after the hurt I've put you through. But I want you to know that I'll be waiting here,just like this.I want you to remember this"
His words vibrated ghostly against her ears.She slowly pulled herself from his grip ,making him raise his eyebrow in a questioning way.Bringing his face down to her level ,hovering her lips over his before slowly placing them on his lips for barely a second and withdrawing herself completely from his grip. And tuned to leave.A small smile emerging from her face.
"So this is the end"
Advay shouted over the music . Still feeling the ghostly sensation of her lips against his.
"Maybe"
"Just Remember Me"
She looked at him over her shoulders ,just to give him.a small yet reassuring smile.
