I suppose it is due to PP's lust... he seems to have changed his mind about sleeping with her once and ditching her... also, PP's mom might be scared of crossing Indrani...

Maybe seeing that Advay is interested in chandni has peaked his male ego and now he wants her so that Advay can't have her, but their opionin of chandni doesn't tie in with someone they would want to be the mother if their heir. They think she is mentally unstable and they don't seem to be the kind of people who would have any empathy or understanding of that.

I found the book btw... "Dual Images" by Nora Roberts😆 heroine ka nephew in that too 😉 Hero thinks she abandoned the kid and etc etc... he's mad at her for that. like Advay here 😆
