I get the CVs are trying to show that Chandni is broken and desperate in need for love from her mother and willing to do anything, but the screenplay and characterisation of Chandni has not supported this well until now anyway. Now add to that this butchering, how does she redeem herself from this when she realises what she did is wrong, I assuming that will be the ultimate plan to show her the error of her ways courtesy of Advay.

Maybe they wanted a reason that Advay can use to break her bond with her sisters - but this track is just lazy and not thought through - even logically it has so many flaws in it, timings and how Indrani doesn't know about the pregnancy.

Basically the screenplay is not strong enough, today all chandni's scenes felt rushed like they just wanted to get it out and be done with it... a story about an abandoned baby deserves a bit of something more to make it even remotely digestible. If they want to show such complicated scenarios they need to invest the time and attention to do it right...

Thankfully my posts quota is coming to it limit, so i am going to take a break from IPK3 tonight...

I'm still on Chandu's team too. We will be a two-log team 😆 But being in a team doesn't mean we have to justify every action of hers, Aish. She has made a HUGE mistake and she will pay for it. Karma and all.

Anyways I think I've had enough of forum today LOL. What really took the cake was people saying 'look how easily she lies to Advay (in particular)' LMAO he's still practically a stranger to her, is she supposed to f**king tell her deepest, darkest secrets to him? 😕

Oh and Advay is a DOLT. Unless he completely disbelieves her kidnapping/torture thing. Nani is right, his professor-giri and logic gaya bhaard mein. She was kidnapped a year ago, held captive by Indrani's man. How tf she'd have given birth to a baby AND given it up to Suvisha orphanage at the time she was a captive?

Anyways, hope Chandni realizes soon her mother doesn't give two shits about her. I have had enough of rona-dhona and 'ma ma hoti hai'. Hopefully Advay shatters this illusion of hers. She knows the marriage is happening for money her mum needs to pay off those she's indebted to, but she has no idea her mum has been trying to sell her off the whole time. If that STILL doesn't break the illusion then idk what will.

Like I said in many posts, Chandini is the first female character I am in love with and will continue to do so until CVs ruin it to no point of return.

I wanna put in my perspective on some of the things you pointed out...if I may...

Chandini did a mistake, a conscious one. And it is not something she has done it NOW! She has done it almost an year ago (assuming it, as they havent clarified the timeline). But if we stick to its timeline as an year ago, that must be the most traumatic time in Vashist family (at least acc to Chandini) as people started calling her and her parivaar names. Indrani must have played the entire situation as "Bechari Maa", and Chandini must have thought this is not right time to bring in the baby home. She might have also taken that decision to send the baby away, fearing the same society will taunt Meghu. Bcos remember it happened one year back, when people called Chandini bachalan. She didnt want her sister to go through it. So she may have initially took that decision to calm things down but keeping such matters under wrap will only cause more disaster and can never be redeemed.

Having said that, I am not saying what she did is right. I will always blame it on the situation. Circumstances always mess up the brains. Chandini is after all a human!

Coming to people on how easily CHandini can lie to Advay, I have nothing to say. And I 100% agree with you. He is still a stranger. She has no reason to confide in him. People need to look at the story from unbiased perspective.

However, I do have to disagree with you that Advay is DOLT. He clearly not. And I tell you why. Chandini was kidnapped an year ago. Baby was also approx around the same time (going by the orphanage certificates) So it is possible for Advay to think that Chandini might have had the baby right Before the kidnapping. [[I hope this is what CVs have in mind]]

Now one may argue with me about Baby's age. Going by all the clues in this episode, the baby has to be more than an year old. I have reason for that as well. A baby cannot be fed Kheer that is made with milk and nuts before it turns One Year! But the fact that baby was fed all that, just shows the baby is more than year old, which suggests she/he was born before her kidnapping. So I dont think Advay is being stupid here.
