"You really think I will marry Chandini. I have no such plans, bro. You know these small town girls, how shy they are. I love these type of girls. I want to give her that haseen dard' which every girl craves for. Bro, I have seen you staring at her intensely. Don't worry, I will leave after spending a Chandini Raat' with her. Then she is all yours."
PP's indecent words played in his mind as he walked by huge corridors of Vashishth haveli. He threw the knife angrily at the door.
"How dare he take my Chand's name from his filthy mouth? It's better if he takes my indirect warnings seriously. Otherwise I will kill him with my bare hands the moment I see him laying his dirty eyes on my Chandini" he said to himself gritting his teeth.
"How dare you" came a beautiful female voice who distracted his chain of thoughts. As he recognized the owner of the voice, he closed his eyes to calm himself as he knew he was in for another lecture as to how innocent PP is, to stop playing mind games with her blah blah blah blah. He turned to face her and saw her marching towards him angrily.
"I am warning you don't test my patience. PP is a simple and decent guy, please don't trap him in your tricks (to which he rolled his eyes). And this (pointing at the chunri)... This is heights of chichorapan. I am saying you stop these dirty tricks before I run out of patience. Or else." she finished pointing a finger at him.
He caught her index finger with his and asked "Or else what?"
Chandini was again lost in those eyes "Or else, nothing, I will tolerate" she replied making Advay chuckle at her answer.
Advay - If you have so much problem with this chunri, why haven't you removed it yet?
Chandini - Haa toh, I will remove it now.
She tried her best to remove that chunri from her head but it seemed that his chunni was like him too...Stubborn not ready to separate itself from her.
Advay (smirking) - Yeh Advay Singh Raizada ke naam ki chunri hai Chandini, uss hi ke jaisi hai, ziddi, itna aasaan nahi hai apne aap ko mujhse juda karna. (The chunri is of my name Chandini, it is just like me, STUBBORN, it is not easy to separate me from you)
Chandini - Panjeri batt rahi hai kya
Advay (suddenly turning serious) - Look, Chandini, PP is not what he appears to be. He lus...
Chandini rudely cut him off saying "I can say the same thing for you as well Mr. Raizada"
With that she turned to leave not before giving him a I-Very-Well-Know-Your-Games look. Advay sighed as he knew she will never listen to him. He has to find some other way to reveal PP's real face but before that he needs to keep an eye on PP whenever he is near Chandini.
Next Day
PP came early in the morning to ask permission from Indrani to take Chandini out for a date that evening. Indrani though reluctant agreed hesitantly only on the condition that Chandini should be home before 10. PP had planned it all, today evening he would have her at any cost. All this rishta' drama was getting too much for him now. He wanted to finish off his business with Chandini as soon as possible. He took their blessings and left happily. Indrani informed Chandini about the dinner but she was unwilling to go out with PP alone. Somewhere Advay's warnings lingered in her heart and hence she was uncomfortable at the thought of being with PP alone. However, her mother cajoled her saying that there was no harm in two persons spending time with each other before marriage, in fact, it would help them to build a base for their relationship. Chandini though averse, gave her consent for her mother's sake.
As soon as this news reached Advay's ears, he was mad with anger. He gave strict instructions to Murali to follow them as he had some pending immigration work to be completed, otherwise he himself would have kept an eye on them. He assured Murali that he would try to wrap up his work and reach the destination soon. He asked him to text him from time to time to give the updates. Chandini was in the living room watching TV when she saw him all dressed up leaving for some work. He could sense her gaze on him and he turned back and gave her that 'You-Be-Safe' look and she sub-consciously nodded her head. He left after giving her one last longing look. Chandini felt a bit dejected when he departed, she didn't know why but today she wanted him to be with her. However, she chided herself when she realised what she was thinking. She went to her room to get ready for the evening.
She unwantedly dressed up herself in a white Anarkali which her sisters selected for her. She had zero excitement for this evening. Shikha had even told her to smile atleast a fake one. At sharp 8 pm, PP came to pick Chandini up and complimented her beauty as he usually did and earned Chandini's fake smile in return. They took the family's leave and headed for the dinner. Murali followed them in another car and texted Advay the hotel they had come to dine to. Advay informed him that it will take him another 45 minutes to reach there. Murali seated himself in the farthest corner from where it was easy for him to keep an eye on PP's movements. PP pulled a chair for Chandini and she smiled at his chivalry. They placed the order and PP started some random conversations to break the ice between them. It was only PP who was talking whereas Chandini just nodded and smiled at him occasionally. Though she was physically present here, her mind was still clouded by Advay's thoughts. She came out of her reverie when the waiter served them the food.
They had their food in silence and Chandini was about to pick up the glass of water when PP deliberately spilled the water on her dress which didn't go unnoticed by Murali. As Chandini went to washroom to dry herself, PP put a tablet in her soft drink. Murali immediately reported about PP's action to Advay who clutched the steering wheel in anger and drove with double speed. PP offered her the drink after she came but she politely refused saying that she is already full and they should head towards home as it was already 9:30. Murali sighed in relief as he saw Chandini refuting the drink and informed Advay about the same who heaved a sigh of relief. PP smiled at her and told her that his friend was staying in this hotel and how persistent he was to meet Chandini. Chandini denied but PP assured her that they would not be late and she reluctantly agreed. Murali saw them going towards the lift and followed them but he was too late the lift had already gone. Panicking, he called Advay and narrated everything. Advay was tensed now, it was just 10 minute drive remaining but it felt nothing short of eternity.
They entered the room and asked Chandini to get seated. The moment she sat she heard the door being closed with a thud and PP giving her a sly smirk.
Chandini - PPji your friend?
PP - He is there but in US. I have been waiting for this day since the time I saw you. Come on now, don't be shy and come to me.
Chandini - What nonsense are you talking? Get aside and let me go
PP - Oh God! You small town girls are so coy. But it's okay baby. Trust me I will f**k you so hard that you will forget your name.
Chandini shivered hearing his words and tried to walk past him to open the door but he caught hold of her waist. In a fit of rage, Chandini turned and slapped him hard and again moved towards the door to open it.
PP - Enough of my goodness Chandini. Come here willingly. Don't make me force you
Chandini spat on his face and said "In your dreams"
PP picked her up and threw her on the bed and removed his jacket.
Advay reached the hotel and met Murali at the reception. At first, the receptionist refused to divulge any information about their client but when Advay threw few bundles of notes she said "601". He asked Murali to call police and went to the sixth floor with the duplicate keys. His heart was beating wildly and he just prayed for his Chandini's safety.
"Your Dev is coming Chand"
He crawled on the bed while she screamed for help which sadly fell on deaf ears. He tried to touch her face but she bit his hand hard and she slapped her such that blood started oozing out from the corner of her lips. She fell down on the bed and he hovered over her to kiss but she continuously moved her face distracting him. Angrily, he tore her sleeve and she started to scratch her nails on his face.
Advay reached the floor and fishing out the keys he opened the room and the sight in front of him made him burn in rage. PP and Chandini looked at the door, the second she saw him she kicked PP on his stomach and shouting Advay's name ran and hugged him tight. He detangled themselves to see whether she was hurt. The finger prints, the blood and the torn sleeve was enough signals to indicate him what might have happened. He removed his jacket and made her wear it. In few long strides, he neared PP and pulling his hair gave a hard punching on his right jaw knocking the daylights out of him. He hit him so hard that he started vomiting blood from his mouth. He again hit him on his nose and whispered dangerously "Didn't I warn to stay away from her?" He gave him few more hard blows on his abdomen, his guts and even broke a chair on him. He was about to break a glass on him when the police came and took PP away.
He at once rushed towards as she motioned him to come to her. He hugged her tight and a tear drop escaped his eyes seeing her condition. He pulled out his handkerchief to wipe the blood but she fainted in his arms.
