Hey all,
I am new to this forum. I have recently started watching IPKKND 3. I have also watched season1 and have liked both. There are a lot of things that are parallel in both the stories. But the biggest difference is the characterisation of the supporting characters and the female protagonist.
I have recently come across a lot articles/posts etc comparing Shivani and Sanaya, wanting the latter to be the female lead. But in my opinion, this story requires a different actor to play the female lead and Shivani is doing a great job. I personally like her portrayal of Chandni.
Also, there are times when it will be difficult to treat season 1 and 3 as separate entities. But somehow, the makers have been able to create a different feel to the show.
For me, the biggest winner has been the casting. All the actors suit their role and are performing well. I personally like the Indrani-Advay dynamic. I think it has a lot of potential. They are both quiet, manipulative and cut throat. While one wants to satiate their greed the other wants revenge. I like how the antagonist doesn't scream, shout, twitch eyes, tilt faces and avoids hair flips.
I also hope to see Chandni and Advay's story unfold. This story too has immense potential. It can be one of the best love stories if executed well. I want to see Chandni's reaction to Advay's allegations, Advays's reaction to Chandni's (partial guilt/innocence, if any).
The only thing that doesn't work for me are... The costumes. I find it very distracting. Other than that I am good.
I hope IPKKND 3 continues on is upward trajectory and continues to intrigue and entertain.
