Is Chandni the reason why Advay's mom was murdered?

So Chandni when she was a kid said something like "Your mom is a witch (daayan hai), your mom was flying".

Did Chandni say this childish stuff to her family who in return killed Advay's mom suspecting her to be a witch? 😲 This is.. well, really sad. But Chandni was a kid, she probably didn't know the effect of her words. Still I can understand how Advay must feel too. 😭

Yes I think Chandni was the reason Advay's parents got murdered. I don't think it is just the things she said maybe she intentionally let out other stuff that Advay told to Chandni in confidence. We need to see what exactly led to his parents getting murdered.

Chandni seemed to have played important role in his past...but she was innocent... May be people made her believe something and asked her to confess. ..if u notice she is not feeling guilty when she remembers dev... It means she did something innocently which changed advays past forever

No Deeps I do think Chandni seems to have been the cause for Advay's mother's death. You can see that Chandni says to dev that I know you are angry with me but I will take all your anger. That means she is guilty of doing something that went horribly wrong and she knows it.

Part of me wants Chandu to be the sole reason for the death of Advay's mother. The premise of the show seems to be falling in love with the person responsible for the destruction of your family. You want to avenge the loss but yet you can't help but fall in love with her.

I think people had manipulated her to believe that Advays mom was a witch but after the disaster and as she grew up she might have realizes her mistake and guilty for it... So she is gonna be like throw whatever u want at me and I will accept everything with smiling face but I know u will finally be the one to save me too... Story line is so interesting that alot of prediction can be made and it increases our expectation

I do think she is the reason behind his parents death. Things she would have manipulated/forced to say in front of everyone by her mother. For Advay's eyes, Chandni is the reason but the whole mastermind behind the death has to be Indrani.

And yes she was kid ..some one manipulated her to say that ..but we know being the main Mahantani ..if some says she is a witch ...can become a solid reason ..As set up is so religious ..it can be a kind of abshagun and superstition

Who ever done it ..would hve known that this reason is enough for their killing

going by the voice over in ep2, it seems like chandni's word triggered the hysteria that lead to his parents death and he obviously was a witness to it and i get the idea chandni's knows what she ended up doing. clearly indra or someone was behind the whole thing and took advantage of chandni, we dont know what exactly happened in full detail but it was so traumatic for advay that he couldnt move past it, he hates the whole family but hates chandni more because she was special to him when they were kids and since he couldnt do anything when he was a child, he bid his time. and it might be crazy to hold a kid responsible now that your an adult but no justice was given and given his an anti hero, his doing all this out of his own self interest and intense feelings whether its right or not.
