Regarding the idol saving scene , I've slightly different opinion on it , for me , it was a test by Lord Shiva to give him permission to re enter Chandni's life, Chandni being a big Shiv ji ke bhakt and the khazana being Shiv ji's property , Shiv ji need to approve of Advay to make him the rightful owner of both khazana and Chandni's love.
Of course Advay passed the test with flying colors.

I like this analysis. Each cast. In essence, every scene can be analyzed, right?

Oh that is also a very logical way to see it
Shiv Ji was testing him to see if he is good enough for his Bhakt
So from now he will always have his blessing
