I think Mona tried standing up against MAC but it didn't work so she gave up, she probably figured that it's better to have peace than make herself an open target. MAC attacks someone every day/week no matter how good or great anyone is, Mona just doesn't want to be at the receiving end. honestly, mona IS confusing..

When Mona was arguing with Akash about his bullying, she went up to Jay about it but Jay didn't boldly say 'Yes, Akhash you are a bully!', he faltered so Mona knew that she's on her own and she can't take on MAC alone, they are too rude, loud, guilt-less to care of whatever they might say. In the end, Akash will just say sorry and finish. Mona on the other hand, felt guilty for hurting them even though it wasn't her fault, they did far worse than her.
