My guess is mika wanted to leave by not trying for the task (as he said) because he wanted to create a good impression on viewers........

he did appear a little frightened to put his hand inside.....

Did he want to make up for the act with jay? 😊

I havent seen the epi but I am sure he must be shuddering, sweating and with his blood pressure fluctuating he decided not to do. It seems Mika realised the Jungle is not his cup of tea. He is too lazy and dull for the challenges. He lost to Chitrashi and Jay, considered weaker than other -strong ones. In short both Mika and Jungle are happy😃.

well he kept claiming that he does not want to compete against Jay and it seems like he wanted to play the soft-hearted=good-impression-with -the-audience bit before leaving. however that is not what came across exactly because even though he agreed to take part in the challenge when mini forced him he never did put his hand in properly and it seemed like he was dead scared. he only came across as a scardycat and a whiny one also.

well, he did put his hand in..

but he wasnt trying..

he did purely to entertain himself..

also, i really liked it when he sort of encouraged jay to try for the last thing..

jay was really scared, and mika tried to encourage him..

i found that sweet somehow..

if he had not done the task before then we might have assumed that he really wanted jay to win but we have seen him getting scared of tasks...this time he just tried to cover it up by pretending to be big hearted..it was written all over his face that he too scared to do the task...in order to save his ego..he did what he did...
