Perfenangel5655, I respect and like the way you presented his case and defended him, 😊 but I strongly disagree with you that overconfident people are not insecure. It has been proven several times by research that some people mask insecurity by overconfidence. While other insecure people are more obvious in their mannerisms....i.e.....smoking, low self image, abnormal eating habits etc. Its not necessary that every insecure person behaves the same way.
I recommend middle school to Akash. Some girl must have bullied him throughout junior high, no wonder he hates women. He definitely has some unresolved issues he's dealing with. No normal and mentally sane, fully grown man shouts on top of his voice when another adult is trying to reason with him. Someone wake Freud from his grave to deal with this man.

Humility and good attitude towards others is most important than a dazzling resume😊

If he cannot control his temper, he should not have agreed to live with people for 2 mths!

One has to adjust when living with people. We adjust with roomates, with friends etc. Not everyone agrees to what we say or do. That does not give anyone an authority to throw their weight around.

And yes, he may be the youngest of the family comprising of 8 siblings and he maybe used to having his way, since the youngest child usually gets a lot of attention and pampering. But even then, this does not give him an added advantage and people need not bear his tantrums.

He said that Chetan being his buddy should have stood up for him. Well. knowing that your friend is wrong and still supporting him is blind friendship. A friend should always let the friend know where he errs. And only a true friend would do that.
I am glad Chetan does not agree to his wrong doings😃

To thrive in a community one needs to be amicable else he should put a finger on his mouth and keep quiet. Perhaps, it may not be his fault. Like Mona said what kind of upbringing he has had. he may not have been corrected for any wrong doings as c hild, hence he does not know the difference between what is the right/wrong way. I hope this stay in the jungle makes him realize what his parents should have taught him much before in life.😕

At the end of the day, its not what you do/did, its all about how you treat people. You will be remembered for the person you were, not for your achievements in life. However high you might have climbed in life, if you have trodden on people and pushed them down they will only remember that about you, not where you reached. And if you go high in life and look down on people, then that speaks very poorly of you as a person. Thinking you are superior to others will only bring you grief in due course. Lessons will be learnt the hard way.

He needs to not just treat his friends right, or respect them 'coz they are 'celebrities', they are people first, his camp mates at the moment whom he has to live and eat with under trying conditions for a month. He has to realize and understand this and learn to control his tongue and anger.

I agree with susan29 who said that there is no point in keeping things to yourself and stewing about something that is bothering you, but there is a way and a right approach. You can't jump on people or hammer on their heads any which way.

It's highly irrelevant what kind of family background, resume he has, which frankly is nothing to write home about(the latter I mean). Even if he was a talented actor which he is clearly not, it doesn't give him the right to behave arrogantly overconfident, I'm surprised it's being suggested so.
The way he treats women is just appalling, granted that the environment they're living is stressful but neither of the other contestants lash out as violently at another person.
Heck, jungle or no jungle, he's always been like this; openly declaring in an interview that he would even break the leg of his co-actress after accidentally hurting her arm, poking fun at actresses and passing juvenile comments on them in Kandy Floss with his cronie Chetan Hansraj.. the list goes on.

The guy is suffering from inferiority complex and that is why he is having the superiority complex and tries to underestimate everyone.
He should first understand he is almost a non entity ,one of the thousand tv serial actors.. who is hardly known.
The problem is.. like in todays serials we see song and dance sequences like bolywood movies, these serial actors have started thinking themselves as bolywood heroes.
That is why they are lossing temper when people are not treating them as what they are expecting.

Hmmm....on the contrary I do think he is a little insecure. Why else does he throw his weight around and try so hard to make his presence felt? A secure and confident person will not go to lengths to scream and act out so badly - just for attention. It almost seems like he loves to maintain his "bad boy" image...coz that is what makes him different from the rest of the boys of the Balaji camp.
And from what I have read - Mr.Ronit Roy is the highest paid actor of the camp not Mr. Akashdeep and Ms.Swetha was the highest paid actress in the camp. Hmmm....do I sense an irritation that a woman could and might make more than you Mr. Akash???
