She came to break free of her ghar ki bahu image so that she can get some successs in bolywood. This is natural progression and every TV artist does that. (remember money hai to honey hai movie??). Mona was also telling that she is fade up with the bubbly tag. Shweta was also trying to potray her sexy, hot image breaking free from the bahu image. So, she came to the show and the sand digging show.. bath scenes etc. all were concious attempts to have an image makeover.
Also she had to speak against whom she has anger (quite naturally for right reasons), like Deepak. Had to show her love and affection for the daughter to the world and also prove that Raja was a bad person (well atleast he has all the bad qualities that a husband can have, that was the precious statement she used). So, she did all of that quite professionally.
When everything was achieved, there was no point for her to stay any longer. She never wanted to stay and win the competition anyway. She had to get some scapegoat, some excuses for leaving.. so she found Aksh, unhygenic stuffs etc.
I do not find anything wrong in that. It is a struggling actor trying to get a feet in bolywood, it is a passionate mother trying to prove to her daughter how much she loves her and a lady trying to prove her innocense in a torubled relationship.. all that is fare and understandable. Like or dislike it.. it is not something someone is doing for the first time and she had the stardom within her to take her life to the national TV and so she did it..
What I can not understand is why her fans are still interested to protect her "Bahu" image which she is not interested in? why such craps like there was no proper enclosed area to take bath etc.?
