They most of the times use ji to younger ones as well specially when they are not aquinted with them as a sign of respect. She might be tuned to it rather than respecting them or showing off on TV i.e it might be comming naturally to her and not doing it intentionally.

I thought Palak did well today. That trampoline challenge was aquite tough considering that she is not very tall either. she still managed pretty well😊
