Manjiri to turn vamp in Ishqbaaz; another lead girl to be introduced

Rumours are strong that Ishqbaaaz main lead, Manjiri Pupala, who is currently essaying the character of ACP Aditi Deshmukh, is being replaced in the show. There are reports flying around that makers of the show are planning to replace the female lead of and auditions have already been conducted for the same. Although nowhere the reason for the replacement has been mentioned but buzz is that the search is on for a new lead.

You may recall SpotboyE.com was the first one to tell you about Manjiri Pupala joining the cast of Ishqbaaaz after its generation leap, so, we got in touch with the actress herself to know the truth behind such reports. To our surprise (actually, not really) Manjiri had no idea about any of it. She told us, "I have no idea about any such development. It is as bizzare for me as it is for you.

We also contacted a source close to the show to know what's happening on-the-sets of the show and he informed us, "It's true that auditions are on but it is not for Manjiri's replacement. A new actress will enter the show as Shivansh's sister and play an essential character in the show". So, now we know from where these rumours cropped-up!

Ever since the announcement of generation leap was made, Ishqbaaaz, its producer- Gul Khan, former lead actress Surbhi Chandna- all made a lot of buzz. In fact, Surbhi's (Anika) fans took Internet by storm as they initiated a campaign (#NoSurbhiNoIshqbaaaz) to not let Surbhi leave the show.

However, the actress had taken the decision and finally Manjiri entered the show, as a strict cop, who is playing Nakuul's love interest. However, since her entry, the actress has received mixed response from fans as a few felt that Manjiri is not living up to the magic which Surbhi created and her chemistry with Nakuul is also not at par.
