I guess some ppl thought NM is only hamming in the scenes with ACP but it's obvious he's struggling in all Dhinku scenes, even the family ones cuz the supporting cast is all woefully inadequate and has no chemistry with NM.

Rome can't be built by one man alone. It takes a village. :P or in the very least atleast a co-lead who can act and uplift you.

He was younger in his previous show when he played a more boyish character and from whatever little I saw that character didn't seem as wannabe as this Dhinku.

Now he's older and he's playing a more wannabe character with a weird wannabe accent and weird hyper mannerisms. He really needs to stop with that :/

Did people say that? I thought in the other thread the context of discussion was the FL but the whole supporting cast is also totally lacklustre. I watched just a couple of episodes on ff and found him ok only in his scene with Supriya. But he is hyper in all the others. But the entire supporting cast is lacklustre. I really feel like he trying to act in a vacuum most of the times. The FL is the cherry on cake because she is the lead not just supporting cast. But the whole casting is awful.
I used to have this impression once upon a time that Gul never had much of a plot beyond 6 months for any of her shows but her casting was generally good. But obviously I was wrong. DIB is testament to how poor the casting is.
And I find it strange because in the original show people created chemistry even with cameos. But this one seems like such an oddball motley collection of lactlustre cast.
I have to add a disclaimer. I haven't watched much but going by the reviews and what little I have seen I have no reason to believe otherwise.
