No more hopes for the proper ending for Shivika. I have already not watched 1 week episodes, I did by for once feel as if I had missed my routine. The latest episodes have successful deaddicted me from IB dose. I started watching a series regularly after a span of 8 years! This is the fate. So be it! Waise bhi, I'm not a TRP contributor, hence does not matter at all!

One thing is for sure. @10, if the star plus has decided to launch a revamp of same IB, there is no guarantee of the loyal IB fans to stick to it. They will watch IB, if they are going to, only online. Not even hot star!

Jiyo providing free data for hotstar- ppl use hotstar to watch the regional shows, not Hindi shows. We, a small bunch of hormonal teenagers, eve after becoming a Mother of one or two, juggling between work and family follow the Hindi shows on hotstar!!!

Two things bother me:
1. Nitikaji got a very nice farewell from IB, with proper closure and sending off. I appreciate that. But, Doesn't other characters and actors deserve that? Complete na-insaafi. I know I am not the deciding authority and no money no honey' things, etc. But as far as the ITV history goes, much loved character are always given a happy ending. Just like other things, IB gonna create a trend to treat the much loved characters as trash! We had always expected each arc, how so ever it is woven to give a happy ending, but now 🤬
2. RU shivaay used to breath- "Shivaay Singh Oberoi ki Jaan itni aasani se nahin jaayegi and now *hitting against wall*

But for sure, I'm not willing to give any more chance to the makers and creatives and channel. IB is sort of farewell to ITV for me.

Thank you guys!!!!

I too haven't watched last week. The three episodes till the wedding were bearable. After that everything went downhill. Eye candy NM and SC wasn't doing it for me.

Nikita Anand got a closure. When?
All I remember was that they celebrated her birthday and then they sent all the seniors to a wedding . They weren't brought back before redux

In redux they said goodbye to tej by killing him off. There wasn't any proper closure for Janvi too.

No worries, this is also a venting thread and episode discussion thread for now.

I knew from the time leap news is out, Shivika would be killed...no doubt...thats necessary for the story of the new generation and Shivaansh to move forward...otherwise I dont see the need for generation leap... Makers could have closed IB SS1 with happy ending to all couples and then started a new season...with new/existing actors and fresh story line...

But I didn't think they would actually show the death sequence of Shivika...but from the onsetdiaries its clear that Shivika are going to be killed...

IB TRP has never been stable from the time of merger...so I can never say that IB has loyal TRP viewership like the other TRP shows...so leap works or not we will never know...
IB story has never been like TRP shows...the tracks start and close too fast for the TRP audience...with redux they did try the usual TRP tracks, but that also never worked...I feel strongly that our writers cannot write the TRP stuff in a normal TRP mode for that TRP aunties to get glued to TV...

but IB has been very lucky...from past 1 and 1/2 year we have been hearing off air news and still IB is going strong and now channel giving a go head for leap... but i have always assumed that a larger part of credit always was bcoz of Shivika and the popularity Shivika enjoyed not only on star but also on rival channels...and have won countless number of awards for a TV show which is not a TRP topper...
but looks like I am wrong after star/PH decided for leap...

Rohini,
They could have shut down shop with the dismal ratings they were getting.
The channel seems to like what the Ph and writers are coming up with for the leap. Let's hope so or everyone is screwed.
and it does help that two of her shows are doing well for the channel

Regarding winding up tracks in 2 to 3 days. I liked it at the start. But after I got hooked on the series. The tracks were haphazardly started and ended.

It was different from Ipk where the in-house villain stuck it out for almost a year and a half creating trouble for the heroine. When it was time for him to leave., he was out in one episode with just one crime against him.

Vyon,

yes IB should have been shut shop long time back...but it didn't and thats why I think IB has been lucky..

I really do hope that there is a substantial story for the leap...but if you ask me personally, I have little trust on our writers especially from the way redux has been handled...

about in-house villians...in IB land, all the characters have to be within the OM set and all the tracks have been built around this requirement...when IB started, the Sr.Oberois had those gray shades and those were to cause the imbalance in the family dynamics...but that angle was never thoroughly explored except during the vanvaas track...but we know what happened...it became again another group project with the other 4 landing at Shivika house in Goa...

the exits of villains has always been like that in IB land too...villains are exposed in half an episode and they are not handed over to police for the deeds committed...

yes Krishi...writers finally ended what they started...does it make any difference who held the reigns of the show from start to end through the journey? Atleast for writers and channel it doesn't...
They have always claimed that IB is Obros show and is super six show...it doesn't matter that show ran even when the other cast were not available...not a mention of them...and story went as if characters never existed...but still its super six show and Obros show only !

Do you use it from mobile or from laptop ? Laptop is pretty easier because you can select the font and color from the toolbar above...

or you can use the codes from the below link
