i used to be a very vocal member of this forum.

now the only posts that seem to crop up are negative posts of the story line. do not get me wrong everyone has the right to critique and state their point of view but the negativity is just so glaring. the way it is going on you swear that ishqbaaz is the worst serial ever created.

shivika and narbhi drew me to ishqbaaz and for the past 2 years i was able to witness their journey sure we had ups and downs but narbhi always managed to keep me entertained with their magic. i love the redux. can you tell me which serial has ever had the main couple be loyal to each other for 600 episodes plus, without leaps, plastic surgery, other marriages, memory loss. the redux has offered viewers a chance to witness another love story, another theme song, new emotions to connect with shivika and all people have to say they wish to return, remember old scenes etc. i have been a member of this forum for 2 years and can clearly remember when those scenes first aired the amount of criticism was thrown. eg, the first forced marriage, annika forgiving shivaay for it, shivaay's remorse was too short, shivika should have romanced more, want this , want that.

other serials on tv are right now portraying extra marital affairs, the female lead being beaten and losing her child, the leads becoming grandparents, and the list goes on. the redux rocks, cannot handle groupbaazi, acp and rudy non existent and shallow love story. shivika is the brand of ib and they are the sole reason it is where it is today.

za productions recently tweeted that ib may end soon. i hope these persons realise that you do not miss the water till the well runs dry. ps. thank God for twitter where positivity and appreciation for narbhi and shivika can be found.

Is loyalty only measured by lapping up anything no matter what? I've also been a member of this forum for nearly two years and have stuck by Shivika despite all manner of retarded storylines...but that doesn't mean that I need to take this messy redux without calling out the nonsense that is going on.

I openly gave the redux a chance when it started...saw potential in it...but it's been proven very clearly over the last month that the writers have no storyline in this redux, they haven't bothered writing anything decent for these characterizations...all they have are the one off good scenes thanks to NM-SC's acting.

So why blame ppl if they miss the flavor of the original which had spunk and animation? Just because groupbaazi messed up the original doesn't mean this redux is the perfect solution.

I appreciate that IB didn't resort to lame leaps or EMAs to keep the show going but the redux has a major writing problem with the lame inconsistent writing of Shivika here...so if ppl point that out and miss the original, why is that such a problem?

Twitter is only filled with positivity? Big LOL...to me personally blind appreciation doesn't constitute "positivity"...one should be capable of appreciating the good and pointing out the bad...this is not some charity we're doing here.

P.S. Ok, browsed around the forum to get some context of what's going on here...

Just because of off air rumors which have been going on since eons for IB anyways, we should blindly lap up whatever is going on in the redux? The storyline is utterly haywire...one epi has no connection to the next...there are bizarre flips to the character almost daily...their convictions change almost daily but we shouldn't say anything? lol

As loyal Shivika fans, we STILL watch...we STILL appreciate the good scenes...atleast I do...this forum is dead but if I find an epi worth appreciating, I do that with all my heart...so then on the flip side, why can't I point out if it's painful to watch such an incoherent version of Shivika in the show now? They barely talk...they had a bit of awkward dosti and now it's on to angst...which who knows won't last beyond two epis...lol so why can't we point that out?

Shivika are the only anchor this show has had for ages...when they aren't given a coherent storyline, the show will wobble...this redux which has been set up as a Shivika redux has really not given Shivika much of a story worth talking about either...a lot could have been done with it...sadly it's barely managing to be coherent. The few romantic scenes alone don't run a show...NM-SC perform their parts sincerely but the writing mostly fails them.

Just my two cents...no offence meant to anyone.

I always enjoy the show be it season 1 ho redux ho putting aside all the logic, because I know I can't watch any other shows on tube because they r not of my choice😆

Also inspite of all illogical tracks in IB, it is more interesting than anything for me...🤣

I prefer fake Shaadi rasms than leads getting married to every third angle 😆

I prefer fake memory loss than real memory loss of leads making them forget their partners and ending up with someone else as their wife or husband.😆

I prefer disguises of leads than plastic surgery, and masks and freezers🤣

I prefer watching platonic relationships between diff charcaters of our show than any EMA 😆

I prefer watching 100's of redux with Shivika with different love stories than rebirths and leaps and next generations 😆

I prefer watching "LAPSES" and "TWO WEEKS LATER" and "FEW DAYS LATER" than 5-20 yrs leap🤣

I prefer leads ka reunion asap if there is any separation rather than making them cry buckets over years😆

I prefer watching leads staying together through thick and thin and fighting together against each and every odd than separating for every silly reason possible.🤣

I prefer clearing of misunderstanding in quickest time possible chahe kitni bhi badi kyun na ho within few days than dragging it for almost one year🤣

I prefer shivaani kalaakaari over pallu on head 😆

I prefer fake pregnancy alert and comedy than real pregnancy, miscarriage and giving away bacha to one another.😆

I prefer baby tracks than getting leap and babies😆

I prefer nautanki shivika😆

Last but not least I prefer male centric shows than cliched female centric shows🤣

I will keep adding if anything comes up in mind.😆

my intention was never to disrespect anyone point of view, was just simply tired of the negativity. i appreciate all the feedback and speaking as someone who has all the episodes 608 saved from the onset i also like the shivika before the redux, loopholes and all. 😊

p.s. not a blind follower of shivika . there are some shivika scenes i have never watched due to the presence of certain characters.😊

Thank you for your clarification. I'm not trying to disrespect any point of view either...but I think it's fair to let ppl process their emotions when the writing is so crappy in this redux...I can't speak for everyone but I was never a part of the group to crib about EVERY track or forced wedding etc...I've appreciated the performances even when the writing has been utter crap...so I'm not sure if the logic holds that ppl only crib in the present and love everything in hindsight...

LOL certain characters are very much present in this redux also...if ppl think that we shouldn't criticize the redux cuz this is some last chance at a Shivika storyline, then I don't really want to burst your bubble but groupbaazi will very much happen here also if redux continues on...cuz the characters have no credible bonding here...overnight everyone falls in love and starts romancing or palling around😆

My funda is that I'm here for the good Shivika scenes whenever we get them...baaki toh IB ka rab hi raakha😆

But just wanted to say...no offence😳

It's okay if someone is ranting on forum when they r not happy with the track.😆 their intentions should be good is what I feel .personally.😳

Some people rant their heart out and when we reply with a smile, funny things and with patience, within few minutes they end the rant and praise the show again😆

Their rant is not beause they don't like show but because most of the times writing is weird.😆

But at the end of the day they r always there for the show.😳

Anyways I'm talking abt only few people😉😆

I agree to all you have written here. I am loving this redux too.

I'm watching this show from episode no.18 and still in love with this show, mostly for Shivika.But,

Whenever I look back, I see only dissatisfied fans fighting with one another for something they think is not right. And then I find missing or appreciation posts of those tracks by them

after the track is over. It's funny how we never learnt from our past experiences,even I'm one of them,

I criticised many tracks but only after it got over I thought maybe it was not that bad.

I agree redux started with lots of potential, Shivika character sketch was different, but it did not go as planned... the most probable reason for this inconsistency is time. Probably the off air news is not a rumour this time, and they are wrapping up the track and trying to give it a acceptable closure.

So yeah, I am happy that we got another story with same leads,and ready to turn Gandhari for the last few episodes..

IB will always be remembered as an unique show, totally different from the other hundreds, running on different indian channels.

I think people have every right to criticise a track if they are not happy with it. Not necessary that they should lap every single thing that is being shown. If they are frustrated they are bound to spell out their frustration in posts and that is just stating facts and not spreading negativitiy. It's always when people have expectations and they are not met properly that disillusions crop up. Being a public forum all are open to put their view forward. And I have to agree that despite my issue with earlier version, I am even more disillusioned with the current redux version. I personally believe that the makers have zero clue on that they are doing and have only destroyed the very essence that made Ishqbaaz popular. That's my personal opinion and I don't think that everyone has to enjoy or support everything that's been shown on just because they liked it before. Also, people are more vocal on serials they loved or had expectations from. Why would anyone comment on other shows if they don't watch it or is least interested in it?

Redux had lots of potential when it started, the story could have been taken to any direction on a clean slate, fans had a 2nd chance to watch shivika fall in love all over again, the cvs had a chance to give a coherent storyline taking some of the feedback against the RU storyline. But instead we got confusion of thought, character flipping almost daily not only main leads now even side characters like Nikhil & his mom, rushing the scenes, glaring loopholes and the list goes on. But still we watch solely for Narbhi performance which is the only glue. Thodi rant tho jayaz hai and lets not call it negativity. One is critical of something only when you care about it much.
