So after a mostly crass and distasteful last week, we finally arrive at a new week and a conveniently rebranded Anika yet againšš...now she's suddenly "Khidkitod" again, folks...whatever that means in this redux.
So first just erase her desperate pleading and crying and clinging to her MS scenes from last week...that's all PASSE now...welcome the "new" Anika who now suddenly has had enough of Shivaay walking all over her and NOW wants to teach him a lesson about consequences.
Ok, I'll bite for nowš
Two things stood out to me today...
1) Some semblance of "takkar" was back again b/w Shivika...this Anika again found some spine from god knows where and now has actively started retorting back to Shivaay's taunts about her not being his wife...taunts, sarcasms, the works...Anika deployed everything today to leave him stumped about his own statements.
If she declares she'll attend the pooja, he retaliates by messing up the dressing table and burning her clothes...lol so then she retaliates by smashing a vase...ROFL...well finally they are back to their true form in some sense...without clashing on an equal basis, there is nothing in their relationship...making her sob like a tragedy queen for a whole week clearly took this nowhere
Also, today suddenly she's like if you don't consider me your wife, I don't consider you my husband either...lol but today she gets to clarify to what EXTENT she believes in shaadi so she's now gonna teach him a lesson about what shaadi/biwi is...all the while CAREFULLY maintaining that she doesn't consider him her husband and she'll walk out on him the day she teaches him a lesson...we'll see how that goesš
2) Anika got to get back at him to some extent for the extent to which he tormented her with his nautanki to break up her wedding to Nikhil...he played emotional boyfriend that day...so she decided to play nautanki BIWI todayš...fully enjoying his irritation and him being flabbergasted by her "Suniye...get me a sari" and her "Help me choose a sari"..."Wait for me...take a selfie with me" dramaš...if he can show videos, well she can take selfies to mess with him too I supposeš
The way she presumed he liked the first one cuz he turned his way face away for the other oneš
Then the special walk down the stairs...lol Anika's smirks were quite amusing today

That was just part one...lol after all these high flying declarations and nautankis, Anika switches to ARDHANGINI modeš...ever ready to support her pati in the pooja by stopping the flower from falling out of his hand...a sign from the gods themselves ki they must do pooja saath meinš...plenty of TRP masala happening today.
But what stood out in this scene again was the fact that all the games being played aside, these two are equally and helplessly drawn to each other...the way they were busy staring at each other while putting the flowers in the fire showed that they still retreat into a world of their own when given half a chance...so much ugliness transpiring b/w them has still not managed to change that.
Precap is even more hilarity...some payal related drama tomorrow with Anika's sari conveniently catching fire to draw Shivaay away from Tia and come running over to save Anika and somehow magically put the payal on heršš
