What if?
What if they met again a second time, the same way, at the same place in same circumstances.
But, they were meeting as different people?
Tadiless Annika , non Tadibaaz Shivaay.
Would he still cut queue with arrogance at pooja, would she need to protest and kick up a fuss, leading to their first clash of egos?
What if they didn't?
Back then they didn't fall in love at first sight. God, they hated each other. They pushed and shoved back and traded barbs. Destiny kept throwing them together again and again, that they were helpless to fight the need to get away from each other.
They were the causes and the solution to each other's problems. They resisted the attraction and chose other people instead, but Destiny forced them together in marriage. Then they began their journey to love. I loved it when Shivaay called themselves Soulmates. Beautiful.ā¤ļø
I'm calling what happened, magic.
Now Shivaay looks lifeless and cold. He feels empty after having unlocked all colors of Ishqbaaazi. Hates the rain for feeling like the starting point of unease.
"Some thing doesn't feel right."
But he's getting engaged in 2 days. It's restart but they're not the same.
Annika too is subdued, without her trademark language, loud nature and lack of name. She is a regular girl Annika Trivedi, with dreams of working as/for a celebrity wedding planner.
Omkara isn't an artist or a poet, he's a businessman. No anger at father or hatred for infidelity seen as yet . Rudra never cries and is a stone hearted man. Both are so far from themselves, it feels rather scary. But are they included in the spell or are they just a manifestation of a new version? Need to wait and see. Not sure of Om, but Rudra seems to suggest deeper characterization.
But the love is there. Obros are still together, in this AU will they fight, I wonder? Sahil and Annika are also as close as ever. Will there be some disturbance there too? Something has to be constant right, or it will all feel too unfamiliar.š¤
New Dadi didn't talk ishqbaazi on introduction and doesn't even look the same. Hahahš. God knows what else they've changed.
But clearly Shivaay and Annika both feel a hollow emptiness without each other. Having felt ishqbaazi that vacuum will seek to fill itself when it finds it's match. They will feel alive again when they meet each other.
After temple meeting, Shivaay dismissed her as unworthy of being an enemy. After the chip drama he went after her hard, cz he believed she hurt his family. Despite his "payback" she ended up back in his house planning his wedding.
Planning his wedding again will be too strong a dose of dejavu or jamais vu or whatever Hahahaha.š¤£ sorry Magicman you haven't met these two...
Maybe that first meeting may not be as we know, but it doesn't mean Destiny won't conspire to make them meet in different ways.
