CUE #5 & 6

SENSE OF BELONGINGNESS

I thought hard before writing this. And nothing came to my mind until it said, what do we want the most as humans? And the heart instantly replied, " Love that gives a sense of belongingness." Didnt the episode mirror that emotion throughout. You want to love and want to be loved in return. I dont know why is it so difficult for our generation to understand that. Lets look into it more in the review coming up in sometime.😳

So as the Srishak suggested yesterday, " Anjani Nani bani sabki pareshani". I was taken aback by NM's melodious voice while introducing the topic. My mind said, " Wait a minute! what did he just say?".😉 Ok then keeping the fangirl in me aside lets look into why and what happened in Ishqbaaaz past two days.

So Billuji gets a panic attack due to an allergy caused by giving water to plants and trees in the morning! Allah! I wondered how would my garden bloom without me! So for a man who is so careful about his Medicines, manages to tell the equally panicky lot that,

" his medicines are over!"

Now thats a different story that it had to happen for Nani's entry and thus, Nani walks in for Billu in distress with her green green kada! 😆

Why fear when Khannaji is here. He for the first time is asking the right questions about her whereabouts but she manages to dodge him well with ofcoruse the Jr. Oberois in support who happen to think alike all the same time. Anyways, Billuji is fine but the question remains who is she? Cooking up a story with Gauri's input in the kitchen she says, "I m your dadi's friend and have come to visit her." Children of the house buy it and thus begins the saga of belongingness with the younger generation of Oberois.

Slow and steady she begins fixing the issues of the house like most elders do. One of the reasons we belong to them as they guide us through our problems and help us grow under their shadows. With Billu's health fine, comes the talk of Rudra's health as his eyes look in pain due to constant use of electronic gadgets like phones, laptop and TV late nights. I m liking a bit of continuity from the previous episodes as we connect to the Media and School in respective scenes. He calls Bhavya to get him some cotton and cold water but instead Nani walks in with the same but with a different motive and off goes his mobile missing for while.

Back in the kitchen Bhavya feels left out as both her bhabhis and now sisters converse with each other. Something that doesnt go unnoticed by our Dear Nani and she puts Bhavya on the forefront for a mini battle. Bhavya says, " I m happy that you two are happy but I feel left out these days due to your bonding." Or should I say overbonding.😆 The bhabhis now scold her for thinking like this giving her sense of belongingness as they vocalise their love for her," We always wanted a gudiya and today we have found one." yeh sab toh theek hai bhai but can somebody tell me how old were Anika n Gauri when the tragedy stuck their lives. Since from their talks its look like they were 16-17! I m hell confused!

Now while all sit together and have a chitchat about their Dadi n Nani she fake reminsces her old times as to how they used to go and have chinese from the stall near Juhu Beach. While Anika gets a point to tease Shivaay for his hate for oily and raste ka khana.

Rudra realises that his phone is missing making Khanna speak confidently that we need to check members who are not family. In his support he shows a video too but Nani dodges him yet again faking the concern for Rudra's health due to technology. She supports her case with the eucalyptus oil that helped him take a power nap and all the gadgets are under the bed. And Khanna gets reprimanded from his boss the third time and ends up saying sorry to Nani yet again.

While they are enjoying the lovely dishes prepared by Nani, there comes a point where she is almost about get caught as she narrates happily that she knows so many dishes since she keeps roaming in different households. Alarming everyone yet dodging it at the same time.

In the night, Shivaay catches her at midnight strolling the halls of Oberoi Mansion since she is feeling cold. And off he goes to give her warmth with a pashmina shawl. Anika seems to caught on the habit of his of calling all things overpriced! " Shivaay yeh shawl toh ek lak ki hai na!" God I have died hearing that! Anyways guess thats not important and he wraps it around for her with all love giving her a sense of belongingness to them. Feeling extremely at home with that gesture. It was really awww.😳

Morning sees all the Oberois cooking in line that too Bread and Omlette while Rudra still looks addicted to the Social Media as he tries to catch it live. In their usual banter they feel Nani is missing but she pops up right in time with tulsi leaves. And then comes Dadi looking for all her khoteyas! While they meet and greet her in their usual style they also inform her about her friend and Devyani Nani. To which she simply denies knowing somebody of that sort. Actually asking them the real questions, " A person I dont know was here amd you let her stay with you since yesterday?" Are you guys in your senses! Ok thats a mild one from my side.

They rush to check the rooms if something is missing but nothing is and she has left a note behind saying, " I m leaving with something I had come to take." And they realised she has taken only their family photo. And then comes Khanna's voice for his one and only Shivaay Sir as he tell them that the fake Nani has ran away as he was getting her home to meet her friend and the real Dadi. And the screen freezes as we see a fuming Shivaay talking to the fake Nani's real family leading us to the conclusion of this story, only tommorow.😳

Family photo rolled like a document? 😕

Oberoi Mansion had a back gate.Remember Annika was accused by Pinky of keeping that gate open for Prinku to elope? What happened to that? When you enter somebody's home with not the right intentions the first thing you do is try to locate the back door and prepare your exit passage. The anjaani daadi fled right through the front door!!!!😲 to be caught by Khanna.

First of all why go to a house and claim to be the eldest resident's friend when you know you will be caught within a day? Anjaani daadi came to Oberoi Mansion for just a day???? Please!!! Better screenplay needed !

Great idea combining both the episodes review...

The new title by billu...I was ROFLing hard...🤣

Vaise I'm enjoying the light moments...keeping aside logic...of letting in stranger just because they say she is dadi's friends...

Missing Shivika moments though...vo be Mila the tho I'm ok with this no villain tracks...

I liked Obro's and Obahu's in this track..

Can't figure out some things though...

1.suddenly AniRi are talking like Bhavya is younger to them...when in fact Gauri is younger...and Annika is of same age as Bhavya...

2.AniRi suddenly remembered everything including the dance steps...

Anyways show mein kabhi logic tha he nahi...so letting that slide...

Now that Bhavya's insecurity is done with hopefully aise confusing moments nahi honge...

They are trying an interesting throry...but lacks in execution.

Duits shows like TMKUC...here seems odd.

Let's see what else HS has in store for us.

I agree rimi better screenplay and execution needed. i would have loved to see that they came to know and was still finding her motive in the right way.

Twisha, I am at a loss after watching the episode.Please come up with a positive post and help me from sinking into this doldrum of disinterest for IB.

Siddhi mai ki jag hasai-----is this a school for reformers or a daily soap for entertainment? I had signed up for intense romance,crackling chemistry,almost tangible magnetism;what I am getting is lessonbaazi

With the change in course must come a change in reviews too. Billuji needs to stop saying it, m still dying lauging!😆

Loving it after the super headache, veer and bua track. This is a welcome change! Though i miss the sr. Oberois too, ghar looking suna suna without them

I liked Obro's and Obahu's in this track..

Thats beacuse they have managed to use the characters damn well, so there is a lot more to see and be happy about.

Can't figure out some things though...

Beats me! Why suddenly so much of remeberance! dance steps n I my sir was ghooming, kyun?
just let them make some moments now. Bhavya feeling left was just for the track otherwise they are all chipkoed in line which I hate. they need to segregate n move in the big halls of OM!

IB takes a bit of pace to catch up. Though for the first time in these social message tracks it did start with a bang. Its slowed down with the next one coz may be the subject was such but I m sure it will pick pace soon! What makes me happy and keeps me going is the makers and the actors are positive & confident about the journey they are traversing through this show.

Some things remain constant in IB and that is always beaten stereotyoes. From the concept from the costumes it has added its own flavours. Even the run of the mill scenes look magical when it comes to our show. And It should remain that way too. When I look back at the headache and toothache last track, I will take this with a pinch of salt n sugar!😳
