RMC rally??

I really do not understand how Ramcharitamanas is going to help in internal family conflict?

As far as I know the only family conflict in Ramayana was Kaikeyi's insecurity which is actually caused by Manthara. And it was soon over when Bharat came back to Ayodhya and blasted Kaikeyi and Dasharath died of broken heart. There was no conflict after Ram returned back to Ayodhya. Rest was all about good winning over bad and as far as I know good won because it killed bad not because good remained good to bad and inherently changed bad to good ( I am confused too).

So how really how RMC will give gyaan to Shivay about solving family conflict especially when major party involved are one psycho who needs medical attention and other with a rare case ( I mean ever heard that consumption of alcohol dissolved the spine?)

I think that was it, Shivay began to read it and not finding any solution he then remembered that Ram sent Sita to jungle after coming back and then his Rajya became sukhirajya. Since there is no kingdom here he thought shooting Annika would be a better alternative to cure the madness of mad king and may be also magically restore the spine of poor spineless bechari abala nari.

But I am still confused. How come dadi didn't give Shivay Bhagavatgeeta? Even though I find it wouldn't be much help but still it is somewhat logical (may be that is the reason since logic is a new territory for cvs that they want to be on safe-shore).

Or it could be because dadi had deep sense of loyalty to ram that she thought it would be a betrayal to him if she ever read something that was recited by other god??
