Your theory is interesting...although it amuses me that what started off as a Ramayan concept "Vanvaas" is now turning into a Mahabharat plot point "Agyaatvaas"...lol

It's irritating that the writers can't think their plots through and fizzle them out within 2 weeks...Vanvaas had a lot of potential right off the bat...Shivaay could have gone into hiding then also...what has really changed for him to NOW realize that he will have to FORCE his brothers away from him? It's hardly rocket science...but the writers choose to use contrived situations.

Anyways, if that's the way it goes...then yes, there could be promise drama-wise in everyone thinking Shivika are dead/missing while Shivika try to build up their life from scratch.

Major suspension of disbelief will be needed in wanting ppl to believe that Shivaay's face is not recognizable...lol unless they go live in some small obscure town somewhere.

This track can only work if they don't show OmRu landing up at Shivika's doorstep within 2 weeks, thus rendering the whole dramatic build up useless.

Om's tepid reaction to learning Shivika left first time anyways brought down that track...if they make the same mistakes this time also, again the track will fall flat.

Mahasangam yes, but you can never trust CVS. What if they bring whole vishnu Puran and Dashavatar to mix?

interesting very plausible and convincing train of thoughts!
yes, but looks like Shivaay will still use his name and expect to be recognized and accorded welcome, command and respect but folks would not give him his due which he has been used to. promo clearly shows this. let us see what the CVs have in mind.
I am still thinking about the vanvaas track promo and how different the actual picture was.
but this is a great beginning to a new life for all!
Shivika living truly alone and coming up in life; Omru managing things at the helm.. but I don't want Tej to go scot-free! he has to have a real heart attack!

and this is sort of a come uppance to OMM too.. for the kand she did just Mrs.Oberoi would not be enough.

Nakshatra I am loving your theory. Mix of analogy of Mahabharat and Ramayana.

The promo can be explained with this theory and I guess HS has been inspired by her interaction with Devdutt Pattnaik 😉

that would explain why it is portrayed as a journey of Shivika alone...And also the absence of OmRu...

But going by the Promo...

Shivaay walks up to the security and tells him Shivaay Singh Oberoi...And he isn't let in...but another VIP passes through th same door...

And then Dadi's lecture happens to raise above dan, Naam , khandhan and follow the path of truth etc...

Wouldn't this mean that something happened to the way people perceive about the Oberoi name...that's what made the security ignore the name...

If we go by the agyathavas theory...why would Shivaay walk up to somebody and introduce himself as Shivaay Singh Oberoi...?

But if i am not wrong, in Ramayana also initially Ran made his hut near Ayodhya. But Bharath and his whole team reached there to request them to come back. But Ram finally somehow convinced all of them to go back. And that night he told Sita and Laxman that they will leave this place immediately and will go far away to some unknown place because he wanted that Bharath should not come to meet Ram again and again for so many reasons. After that they also did not reveal their identity to anybody. Long story after that that how all came to know that who are they.
