Bangles knocked together as she slid them on her wrist
Her chocolate brown orbs shone with excitement
Applying her pink lipstick to her lips she pouted then laughed
Her fingers stroked the picture on her desk
Holding it against her chest she spun around
"He comes back today" she shouted in happiness as she ran out of the room and down the stairs
7 years and Anika had never lost faith in the man she loved
But 7 years of imprisonment could do a lot to a person
Pulling the doors open she allowed the wind to touch her face
Her hair flew back with the force of the wind
Then her eyesight fell on him, dressed in a suit, a blazer and a crimp shirt, all as dark as the past 7 years had been without him
In her happiness she ran forward and hugged him, her arms wrapped around his neck as tight as possible
Taking him in, he was finally back
Here with her
At home, where he should be
Her fingers skimmed over his overgrown beard
"Shivaay" she muttered in awe
Not being able to believe he was actually back
