I Am With You
"I love youuu Shivaay."
Shivaay stared amused at the loud scream of his wife, Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi . She was the only antic piece in the world indeed and he was proud to have her.
"I know that and I love you too Anika. Lekin itna chillane ki kya zaroorat hai?" Shivaay being Shivaay, did not understand the enthusiasm of his wife who seemed over the moon, at that moment.
"Ohho Shivaay, aap bhi na. Har waqt tadibazi dikhani zaroori hai? Kabhi Romantic Singh Oberoi nahi ban sakte?" She frowned, when he rather than acknowledging her confession, questioned her as if she was any stupid.
A week, it had been a week since they had left Oberoi Mansion. The Vanvaas! They had shifted to a house, which was quite at a distant from OM.
The house he had gifted to Anika a while before!
Things weren't great after that but they were fine but what wasn't good, was Shivaay. Leaving the family which meant world to him, leaving the brothers who were a part of his soul, had left him shattered. Though he had put a sham of a stable Shivaay, he forgot, that it was Anika in front of whom, he was trying to hide his pain... Anika, who knew and understood him inside out, probably a little more than his own self!
He hadn't told her yet what made him do what he had done but she had been more than ever patient, allowing him his own time and space. She hadn't raised that topic from that time, let alone demanding an explanation.
All she had been trying to do was, to get him out of his broken state, to divert his mind somehow, to keep him happy somehow though she knew, it was hardly possible for him to do good staying away from his family but she wasn't going to give up. She had decided to do whatever she could, for him because he deserved that. Today was just another attempt to try to make him feel better. She had forced and brought him to a small picnic over a mountain.
"Anika, I know what are you trying to do and like I have said to you so many times earlier I am fine, really." He said, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. He knew she was concerned and he, everyday felt bad, because he was too helpless to do anything. He was aware that she wanted him to be normal. But wasn't really in his hands and Anika... she had no fault in all what happened yet she had suffered so much right from the day he married her.
"Anika."
"Hmm." She said, playing with the buttons of his coat, not wanting to force him to share anything, which he did not want.
"Do you regret being with me?" He tried asking her normally but emotions are emotions. Who could have a control over them? None! His voice came cracking. It wasn't the fear, it wasn't the regret but the guilt... guilt of not being able to give her a normal life she deserved. Being Shivaay Singh Oberoi, enemies and problems came more than the fame, status, and glory. In between those problems, he somehow never realized how much Anika was getting troubled but today when he did... it wasn't a good realization definitely.
"What? Why would you ask something like that?" She asked, willing to know what made his thoughts go in that direction which was nothing but weird and crazy for her. He took a sharp breath before he spoke out everything in his heart before her.
"Oh to ye baat hai." She moved forward a little to get herself out of his hold. If it had been any another day, she would have laughed at that but this moment, he wasn't up for that. He needed an assurance, she concluded from his Kanji eyes, which held an altogether different level of guilt in them.
"Want straight answer? No. I don't regret being with you." She told him, fixing her gaze at her observing every minute change of expression on his face. So obviously, it did not go un-notice from her when she found curiosity in his eyes. Guilt had disappeared moments before.
"Shivaay... aise sawal na sirf aap hi puch sakte hai, bata rahi hu mai. Kaha kaha chalta hai aapka dimag." She added a bit of humour giggling, lightening the atmosphere. He still hadn't said anything. He was waiting, for more from her.
"You are asking if I regret being with you? What if I tell you... I would have regretted not being with you?" She asked rather asserted. "Aj pehli aur akhri baat bol rahi hu, sun lijiye acche se aur kabhi bhul na mat. I don't know if you know but you are the best thing that has happened to me in my life. Jab orphanage me thi, aisa lagne laga tha shayad mujhse jada kismat kisi ki kharab nahi hogi. Lekin aapse milne ke baad pata chala, wo to horror movie ka trailer tha. Aap meri zindagi me aaye aur sab buri cheeze aapne bhaga di. Bilkul hero jaise... mere hero. You probably don't realize the things you do, the things you have done... they touch here... here Shivaay." She put her finger near her heart as she spoke.
"I know what made you think this is right. It indeed is. Lekin kisne kaha tha pyar ke sath rehna heaven me rehne jaisa hoga? Kaha tha kisi ne? Doesn't matter Shivaay, how many problems come, doesn't matter. Problems se dar nahi lagta, aapse dur hone ke khayal se lagta hai."
Her confession about every damn thing left him tongue-tied. Staring at her face which was adorned with a lovely smile, he wondered what had he ever done to deserve this lady.
"Acha ab kuch kehne ki zaroorat nahi. Mujhe pata hai aapse kuch bola nahi jaygea." She chuckled.
"I love you Anika." He engulfed her in a hug, pulling her closer.
"Hmm. I know that." She laughed circling her hands around him. "I am with you... always and forever."

Got a little dramatic, I know.š¤
Okay honestly I don't know what have I written.š I wasn't supposed to write this. You see first hundred words - I was writing a random drabble but this happened, somehow.
The credit entirely goes to EDT people because I haven't watched the show since long. So I wasn't even aware of what was happening, especially about the Vanvaas track. They helped me out, catching with 'Story So Far in IB'šš³
PS: Vanvaas track is exciting by the way. I am gonna resume watching the show.š³
Cheers
