We have asked in the past for wrongs to be made right and were never granted any. So now that we have been granted that request, I think I owe an appreciation post to Writer Saheba since I hounded her the most I feel as well. 🤣 🤣🤣
I know it probably will not be read by her but let it not be said that we at the forum here only bash when things go wrong and never praise when they are set right. 😉
I am talking about the 'Tanya meri biwi hai' that turned more than one stomach when it happened, which was addressed today in the most perfect way possible, at least as per me.
It was done simply and without fanfare and that was the beauty of it all. They had a small but mature dialogue and he said all the right things without any comedy or taddi to spoil it. It was a pure husband and wife normal conversation and I for one was thirsting to hear ShivIka have one of those.
His gesture was so simple and straightforward - not the grand ones he is used to making.
He moves his wife's things back to her rightful place in his cupboard beside him and in his room that she shares with him. Perfect prelude to what comes next because he knows it will automatically draw her here in their private space where he will then be able to right the wrong, honestly and from his heart.
And when he did apologize, Shivvay rectified and expressed regret like an everyday normal husband would. He admitted that what he had done was wrong and that he had been foolish enough to take that step. He messed up and he was sorry. Pure and simple words but they were the most effective.
It was addressed by a husband who it seemed was bothered by it for a while because he truly looked like he recognized the hurt it might have caused his wife when he did that. Maybe Annika's words did make their mark when she was upset the other day and maybe he did start thinking about it. Of course that is left for us to assume and I completely get that.
It was a huge mistake, and that would still be an understatement for what he did, but him recognizing that he had been wrong to succumb to Tanya's blackmail and give her Annika's place, respect and identity as his wife, was what was important for him to acknowledge. He righted the wrong by stating that there was place for her and only her in his house, in his room and in his life.
Nothing can beat that Diwali gift in my opinion. Now here's hoping this statement has not come with a 'Good before 15 days' expiry date (like the wedding vows), before another woman waltzes in again wanting to be Mrs. Shivvay Singh Oberoi.
Fingers, toes and eyes crossed. Writer Saheba don't make me eat my words written here!!😆😆
