Epi review : Taadka's Tadi

No offense to all the people who loved the episode today, it fell a little flat for me. It was funny in parts but the impact was sort of lost on me. It wasn't all that bad, but we've seen better even in terms of madcap comedy. I don't know if it was because the spoiler pics sort of gave things away...or it simply didn't translate as well on screen. I had more fun reading the live updates than watching the actual episode.

This village must be in some parallel universe where nobody knows or cares about the Oberois. 🤣 Oberois ke reputation ki satyanaash. 🤣

SSO's Tadi, Tej's Tadi, Annika's khidkitodness, Gauri's dabangness nothing worked in front of Kumari Taadka. 😆

Jab Shivaay or meri nahin chali toh kisiki kya chalegi?

Koi toh hoga jiski iske samne chalega.

Dadi of course. The only one with some clout in the family. 😛

Surely there can ways to bring Ruvya together minus the forced situations and conflicts.😳 The kitchen scene was cute until Rudy went back to being a 'shallow ageist'. 😳 Why were they sharing a room in the first place when they had other options?😕

Chunri ki rasam in a police station? 😒 Wasn't the whole point of having a remarriage to make things special for Annika? What's special about having the first actual function in a police station minus three family members?

Wise words from Shivaay. Agar rasmon ki shurwat police station mein huyi toh aage kya hoga?

The only scenes that I really liked today was the Shivika scene...when Shivaay became carebaaaz...and the Rikara convo.

Our producer Sahiba had assured we'd see a 'difference' starting from this weeks epi. 😳😆

Agree today's epi was funny in parts but really didn't work for me.. I don't think they could have outdone the chunri rasam/engagement from the pre-separation epis - so some random "its gonna be different" announcements.. The only good thing about the chunri rasam being outdoor was we did not have to see Pinky! Everything seems still in filler mode - at this rate even the shaadi (that SP gave promos for way back in Aug) isn't going to rake in TRPs!

RuvYa story - they seem stuck as to how to take them past the supposed age difference "praablem". RiKara too.. there is no real conflict that can't be solved in one long talk between the two.. if they were at least to show Om as conflicted on making a commitment 'cause of his background with his parents, it might sell..

I think the 'difference' Gul meant was interms of editing which was different today. The scenes had better flow and they weren't cutting them randomly in the middle so our old editors are back I guess...
