Infact we were discussing this the other day too

And yes i too have been saying this...we badly need a Monologue...more from Om's point of view...

Yes I suspected it but our discussions the other day convinced me.

I wont mind if the cut on the eyelocks and touchy feely moments for a monologue or two!!

P.S just made my sis read it. She rejected it saying it makes too much sense. 🤣

Good explanation!!

I never thought of it this way. Om's hesitancy does make sense if the reason is he is MUing that Gauri doesn't want to give a chance to this relationship anymore. Maybe he wants to give her time? 😕. If this is the case it would make sense why Om introduces Gauri as just Gauri in the exhibition because he can't obviously introduce her as 'Gauri who is sirf bahu'. But after Gauri left, he had no qualms about acknowledging Gauri as his wife and giving an earful to those people. All this would have made more sense if the creatives actually showed what Om is thinking. But instead Om's character starts looking inconsistent and less likeable.

True. We viewers shouldn't have to guess everything. A monologue or two is badly needed for the viewers to know where the characters stand. It also doesn't help that these two characters, esp Om hardly get 5 minutes on screen! Out of which 3 minutes are wasted on eyelocks and Saathiya! 😆

I read all the stories...kuch bachayi nahi hein...daily google pe yahi doondthi hum...koyi naya story aaya hein ya nahi...aaj bhi dekha...😲

I love your analysis and it makes complete sense and yes I do agree that we need a monologue of what they are thinking.

I do also think that Gauri being groomed and educated may be a lovely track because it will help Gauri see her own potential and see herself as equal to Om.

She looks at him with devotion now but it is important that she look at him as an equal and not a superior being to her. For that she needs to get over her insecurities and grooming and being educated may be the path to that.

One may be completely comfortable in ones own skin but when you fall in love you want to make yourself desirable to your partner you want to connect with them at their wave length and if the wave lengths are different then feeling insecure about what one lacks in competely normal for any person. So why should Gauri be different. Yes she is strong and a wonderful person but suddenly coming into this sophisticated world of the Oberois is bound to make her insecure .. so I hope that they handle this grooming and education track well. They should show that Gauri is busy focusing on herself and her education and that she isn't at Om's beck and call. Let him feel that she is upto something and isn't around everytime he or the family need her. I would want Shivaay to help her educate and Groom herself and make Om feel a little jealous by keeping him in the dark about what Gauri is upto. Making him realise her position in his life. Constantly throwing them together isn't working so maybe keeping them apart may just do the trick. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and you never appreciate what you have till you realise that it maybe going away from you.

I agree with each and every word of yours, please don't let this remain only in IF, make threads and circulate on twitter too, its much needed there, that place is litterally a warzone 😆 If you try to mediate, then they gonna eat you up 😔

And yah one point as I see everyone questioning it, If they gonna talk and sort out everything this instance, then what's the need to have a story ,everything will be done then 😆

Its one's articulation problem and the other's self-proclaimed knowing everything issue which is making the gap😆
