After the function the girls went to anika's room and omru went to shivaay's room.
"bhaiya agar vo chantomai paritosh chulbul bhabhi ko mangalsutra pehna deta toh unki shaadi ho jati na rudy said , his expression was wondering and confused but every confusion flew away when shivaay hit him on his head and rudy looked at Om who was glaring at him.
"joke kar rha tha he clarifies while looking at om.
Om sighs and looks away but rudra speaks up again "aap chahte kya ho O? na toh chulbul bhabhi ko jaane de rahe ho na rok rahe ho. Aap unhe apni wife bhi nahi maante aur vo move on bhi kar chuki hai. I mean unke behaviour se toh yehi lagta hai ki unhe aapse koi farak nahi padh raha hai. Aur mujhe toh lagta hai ki vo anika bhabhi aur bhaiyya ki shaadi ke baad chali jayegi.
There was pin drop silence as rudy finished speaking. Shivaay just crossed his arms and looked at om, waiting for him to speak but Om couldn't utter a word.
Omkara couldn't understand his feelings, what did he want from her.

Next day
The preparations were in full swing, the wedding was tonight and now only the haldi rasam was left. Everyone was dressed in shades of yellow and got ready for anika and shivaay's haldi. As usual gauri was busy and was actually having fun with paritosh because he had decided to help her, more like make fun of her and annoy her but that is how friends are, they constantly tease you and make fun of you but they also care for you the most when you are hurt.
Om kept looking at them as gauri was working and laughing while paritosh threw flowers at her. soon it was time for the rasam and one by one the women applied haldi on Anika and Shivaay. Gauri was the last one to apply haldi at shivaay and after that the war started as bhavya applied haldi at rudy and ran away. The elders also applied haldi to each other and even gauri looked at paritosh with evil eyes as she took some haldi paste and ran after him coz she knew he didn't like it.
Om saw this and had had enough when he walked straight to where gauri was approacjing and held her wrist. Holding onto the hand which had haldi on it, om slid his palm towards hers and rubbed with her palm in the process. He got haldi on his hand and he reached and applied on gauri's face. Gauri closed her eyes as she felt his palm caress her cheek. She didn't even realise but om took her palm and kept it on his cheek and so gauri had applied haldi on his face too.
After that om turned to leave and smiled.
Her good mood had vanished suddenly, this was so complicated. Why was he such a complicated man? He asks her to stay away from him but doesn't let her stay away. He's a walking and talking paradox.

Gauri was in shivaay's room to keep his wedding dress on his bed. As she turned to leave she heard some voices. She took a few steps and went near the window facing the pool. She saw omkara talking to rudra.
"gauri se shaadi maine majboori mein ki, us shaadi ka koi matlab nhi ... gauri turned away not intending to listen anymore, his words were the last straw, they hurt like hell and her heart broke but she was strong and this time she decided she will give him what he wants. Wiping away her tears she left.

Half a day was already gone and the hustle bustle in oberoi mansion had increased. Gauri was going to the kitchen when she saw omkara talking to some relatives.
"om tumne shaadi kar li aur humein bataya bhi nahi an old woman said
"zara humein bhi toh milvao use another one said
Om looked flustered but didn't know what to say. He looked around for gauri and saw her in the kitchen. "gauri om called and went to the kitchen. He smiled and held her hand "chalo, mujhe tumhe kuch logon se milvana hai
He takes gauri to the aunties and introduces her as his wife. Gauri feels hope that maybe he'll accept her but then the next words from his mouth crushes that hope. "main nahi chahta tha ki media ko pata chale isliye humne bas ek choti si shaadi ki with close relatives
He had lied about the reason they married and deep down gauri knew that maybe he did the right thing but she couldn't stop herself from getting angry. As soon as the aunties left gauri snatched her hand from his hold. Omkara was shocked at her behaviour "kya hua gauri?
"jhut kyun bola,sach hi bata dete. Bata dete ki aapne humse shaadi majboori mei kit hi, ki aap humein apni patni nahi maante. Aap... aap humari samajh mein bilkul nahi aate omkara ji. Aap humein apni patni nahi maante par dusro ke liye hum aapki patni hain! Aap humse kehte hain ki chali jao par hume jaane bhi nahi dete. aakhir aap chahte kya hain?
Before omkara could take it all in and say something she left.

Finally the most awaited wedding is happening and the oberoi mansion is lit with the glow happiness. Gauri couldn't believe if it's a reality or a dream which would break if she were to blink but no, to her delight everything is real, her bade bhaiyya and anika bhaujaai are getting married. She was happy for them but sad for herself. Keeping aside her gloominess, she leaves to see if her bade bhaiyya was ready for the wedding and she had to tell him something.
" bade bhaiyya? aap tayyar hain? gauri asks as she enters shivaay's room. " yeah I am ready shivaay turned and looked at his sister who stood near the door with a sweet smile on her face and tears in her eyes. Worried, he crosses the distance towards her and hold her shoulders. "gauri , why are you crying? Is everything ok? gauri doesn't say anything and continues crying. Shivaay holds her through it and once she stops crying, gauri speaks up.
"hum bahot khush hain ki aapki shaadi ho rahi hai par ab humein jana hogaa gauri looks at shivaay as she waits for his reply.
"gauri main jaanta hun ki om aur tumhare beech abhi problems hain par.. gauri stops him from speaking any further "nahi bade bhaiya humara matlab hai ki neeche jaane ka waqt ho gaya hai and gauri laughs hiding her pain behind her smile. She saw shivaay relax and smile, he wipes her tears and hugs her. She lied because she didn't want to spoil this day for him.

The wedding was beautiful, and gauri could only imagine if omkara and her's could have been like this, how would it be like if they had married out of love? This feeling was bittersweet for her, she was happy and she was sad and now it was time for her to say goodbye.
She was leaving so many relations here, people who genuinely cared about her, a big brother and sister she never had. She had accepted her fate; she would just live with her mother and take care of her for the rest of her life.
And while everyone was busy congratulating the married couple, gauri looked at them for the last time, this big happy family could have been hers too but maybe it was not meant to be and she was glad that at least they were happy, at least someone was happy (looking at om) and with that she stepped out of her husband's home.
