Writer Harneet Singh spills the beans
We spoke to the writer of Star Plus' popular shows Ishqbaaz and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Harneet Singh, over the upcoming twists and turns.

Amidst the saas-bahu sagas, Ishqbaaaz came as a breath of fresh air for Indian Telly viewers. The unprecedented popularity of the show can be attributed to the sizzling chemistry between its lead pair Nakuul Mehta (Shivaay Singh Oberoi) and Surbhi Chandna (Anika), fondly called as Shivika. From breaking gender stereotypes to redefining love, the show has gifted its fans some khidkithod' moments.
Apart from this, it is Barun Sobti's comeback show, Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, which has been grabbing eyeballs. The show started airing just last month and has been picking up the pace on the TRP charts.
As the fans wait with bated breath to finally see their Shivika and AdNi get married this month, we spoke to the writer of the shows, Harneet Singh, to know what can the viewers expect in the coming weeks.
Without divulging much, Harneet gave us a slight hint of the innumerable twists and turns which the fandom can expect.
Quipping that the viewers can expect her with zombie eyes- courtesy- WORK, Harneet said, "Viewers can expect a lot of entertainment, a lot of twists and turns and character flips. Both my guys- Shivaay and Advay are going to show why they are our heroes. Both my heroines are going to show why they are the women these guys are crazy about. A lot of twists and turns till the wedding happens. Certain important story moments will also take place. In the case of Shivaay and Anika, it will be about both of them realising the love and trust in their relationship. While Shivaay will have to figure out that if the truth is more important or the woman, Anika will come to know whether he trusts her enough or his tadi' [attitude] is more important and how much she affects him. We will see Shivaay doing some SSOgiri.
Coming to IPKKND, Singh said, "Talking about Advay and Chandni, Mr. ASR will make sure that his hate will come to the fore. A lot of revelation will come up in the show. People will come to see how destiny has played a part in their life and a lot of gaps will be answered.
She further added, "People are yet to see the pain in their love story because they are both broken people. Right now, they are not showing the pain but the moment they show it, you can imagine the way they will heal each other.
