Let's say, the story is as straight as it looks.. TB fell for Annika and agreed to Rags plan.

Shivaay was sure TB doesn't exist and called him and got the shock of his life when TB said Annika was his fiancee..

So for all Shivaay knows TB is Annika's fiancee.. so even if they exchange rings in private, whats to misunderstand?
