It's hard to write in Past Perfect Progressive tense. Well, so I'd have to put all my grammar skills in to use to keep this post appear not so complaining.
If I mention Saumya, it would be termed a complaint. If I mention why Bhavya doesn't fit in the story, it would be termed name-calling. So how else do I share my opinion on a public platform? There are enough "in-love supporters of an actor or the character. I do understand. Been there. But one has to understand that there would be some who would be interested in a storyline.
Premise of the brother's stories was introduced through Dadi in the first episode. Shivay believes in NKK; a partner without one(NKK) and the conflicts therein was panned out . It's ongoing.
Omakara hates lies. A partner who doesn't speak truth/speaks lies would bring the conflict in their story. It's happening I believe. There is not much difference between his current lead Gauri and him. It is not that he NEVER supported lies. He did in that accident case that the bro-sis duo did. That story is left open without a closure.
Rudra's love story next. Rudra had been shown as one who is judging people by their looks. His story then should have been towards the realization that it is not external appearance that counts; ultimately it's the inner beauty of a person that is imperative. From the premise of the current love story that is being considered by makers as an exquisite masterpiece, how can Rudra as a character evolve? The writers have been finding a contrived way to deal about physical appearance and mental faculty issues in gender. This could have been put to use when Saumya was kidnapped by Kamini. The conflict could have been shown that Rudra's dependence on showing off the physical prowess in front of "goons lands them in further trouble and Saumya's smartness saved both of them.
The Rudra who was the voice of reason, a feminist once upon a time is suddenly being presented as someone who wants to be "the protector in their relationship. He was the most affected when Priyanka's alliance was considered to Dev and said he wonders why women have to leave their household when men stay back home even after marriage. When Mallika had voiced her concern over equal rights, he was the first to agree that there is discrimination. That Rudra is now being presented as someone who can't accept even when his brothers point out that a lady officer cop, a woman can be stronger than men. His one-upmanship in a relationship is out of context.
If every week is going to be new stories in TRP gaining trial, I am pleasantly surprised why they had been credited with 2 years of research in making this show. The show makers are continuing to run behind ratings from a skewed population. They only have this so called meter installed in a meager 7% of the TV viewing household. They are chasing imaginary figures in a vacuum.
Disclaimer:
My intention is not hurt viewer's sentiments and not to have this as war-inciting post.
I have no complaint against makers. This is an honest feedback.
I have not involved in any name calling.
The writers are being paid for writing sub plots in stories. So it is only a feedback to help them consider doing their jobs a little aesthetically.
All disclaimer notes are heartfelt and anything that appears familiar in terminology is pure coincidence.
