A little bit after the restaurant scene, with a little bit variation.
Naa nabz naa hi saansein,
Kuch nahi.. kuchh nahi..
Tere bina hai jeena,
Kuch nahi.. kuchh nahi..
Neither a beat, nor breaths,
Nothing, there is nothing.
Without you, living is
Nothing, it's nothing.
She sat on the broad extension of the window sill, in the dimly lit room looking out at the pool. A sad smile adorning her face. She was with him so close, yet so far. So far. A tear rolled down, as she remembered how he had stopped living. He din't react, like he used to. Today he had shown anger broken things but din't say a word to her. He was angry, she had instigated him, expecting the anger, but he din't talk to her, he din't! Still the void remained in his eyes, just like the void between them.
Naa ashq naa hi aahein,
Kuch nahi.. kuchh nahi..
Tere bina hai marna,
Kuch nahi.. kuchh nahi..
neither tears, nor sighs,
nothing, there is nothing.
even dying without you is
nothing, it's nothing.
Her tears had stopped but her pain was getting unbearable. What had she done? She hadn't broken him, She had "killed" him. Nothing mattered to him. Nothing. She sat lifeless there just like him. She had spoilt everything between them. She had done worse. She was guilty of killing her own Shivaay.
He stepped inside the room to pick up a file assuming she would have been fast asleep and he knew she was a heavy sleeper. As for him, he couldn't even sleep properly. Initially the painful separation scene played in his head like nightmares. And now was used to sleeping at midnight for an approximate three hours and thats it, he got back to existing in the world.
Tere bina main kyun,
Tere bina main kya,
Har pahar, darbadar
Kuch nahi.. kuchh nahi..
why am I without you?
what am I without you?
every hour, wandering here and there,
nothing, I'm nothing.
He now saw her sitting by the window. He was going to ignore as usual and move but something caught his attention. The emptiness in her eyes. He looked back at her. Her face expressionless and eyes reflected a void, just like the one his own eyes reflected.
He missed a step, as his heart missed a beat. His eyes grew wide, his breathing started breaking. He couldn't stand that. That emptiness. That lifelessness. He shuddered. Breaking all his silence, he called her, "Anika?" She was too lost to pay attention to anything around her. His breathing became difficult, fear gripping him, he remembered how she lay lifeless in his hands, when Daksh had kidnapped her, he remembered how she lay lifeless in his arm after taking that bullet meant to be shot at him.
He walked towards in fast strides, he sat opposite to her,on the window seat. "Anika!" She din't move, her eyes seemed to be interlocked with infinity.
He was scared. He couldn't see himself like this,he hated seeing himself in the mirror, something he at once used to tginkbwas essential, forget seeing her in the same condition. "Anika!" He placed his hand on her shoulder. She turned her eyes still looking away into emptiness. He nodded in a no, and cupped her face making her look at him. "Anika!" Her eyes flickered and rested on his face. She hadn't realised when he came. "Aap!" She said sitting up straight and looking around.
He din't wait, he hugged her, pulling her face close to his heart. His heart almost sank at the thought of Lifeless Anika. What if she did something like he was doing to himself? Though for him, it had become natural, he hadn't wanted to come out of his robotic life. But...
He can't let Her be like that. NO. She needs to be like Anika. Loud, clear, expressive, crazy, animated, sensitive, wild, she need to be lively..! She has to live.
Naa aks naa hi saaya
Kuch nahi.. kuchh nahi..
Tere bina hai mera,
Kuch nahi.. kuchh nahi..
neither an image, nor shadow,
nothing, there is nothing.
without you, mine is
nothing, there is nothing.
She was all taken aback, but din't think of anything. She knew one thing she was breathing, she was alive in his arms. She had been burning, in the fire of separation from him. He was frozen ice after she left. She needed the coolness to calm her wild flames that would soon perish her.He needed her warmth, or he would remain frozen Forever.
The fire felt the coolness while the Ice melted. There were fumes. The fumes of a blend of rest and unrest.
Rest that they finally met and Unrest that they needed more. They would always need the other. He needs the fire to melt him and keep him alive. She needs his coolness to keep herself from perishing. The world saw Ice and Fire as contrasting concepts. Only they knew how much they completed each other. Only they knew how much they needed the other. To keep themselves from destroying the self they needed the other.
She held him tight close to her, like she would slip off the cliff if she din't hold on to him. He was sinking, he had to hold on to her to keep himself from drowning.
He slowly moved slightly away, to look at her, he had to make sure she was okay. She clutched on to his back, not letting him part. "Shivaay!" Was all she could manage to let out. He had tears in his eyes, he could feel her pain. She had a smile, she had found him, she din't have to look at him to know. She wouldn't let him go, no matter what. Breaking the hug he made her look at him. She smiled as she saw... She saw her Shivaay! The one whose eyes spoke his heart out. He cried as he saw her broken. He rested his head against hers, their gazes interlocked not willing to leave the other for a second lest the other should disappear as a dream...!
Tere bina main kyun,
Tere bina main kya,
Har pahar, darbadar
Kuch nahi.. kuchh nahi..
She wrapped her arms around his neck bringing his head close to her shoulder. His arms wound around her back securely. They stayed like that for a while. They knew they had to fix the broken. They knew they had to reconstruct the destroyed. They would do it together!
The Fire would wrap its flames around the Ice, and yet burn it not.
The Ice would enwrap the flames of Fire, and yet freeze it not.
The Fire and Ice were Meant To Be , that way,
Burning In a Moment and Freezing In The Other.
They were Like For And Ice !
