I have to applaud you for the concept of the story. Even I had a similar story in mind but all of Annika's family is darker. Not seemingly positive like yours. I second Ronit Roy as Anni's dad. I also have this in my brain too.
Also is Ragini actually married to Annika's dad? Our Ragini and Anni's dad?! I have all the michmichis but you go for it. I'll cheer for you both all the way.

"Maa aap soyein nahin abhi tak" Avantika asks and takes the glass.
"Tera intezaar kar rahin thi.. itni der kaise ho gayi"
In Oberoi Mansion
Flashback:
Annika was sitting alone in the living room of OM thinking about those past 3 months and what happened in them??
They seem so dense. She remembers nothing from them other than emptiness perhaps and the count...
A day passed, another day passed and another and so on and so forth...
You know that you're not living when you try to remember how your life passed and can't find a single answer for it...
It was dense, dark & Annika's new favorite companion, full of pain...
She was lost in her deep thoughts when a security guard came and told her that a man came asking about Ragini . Annika asked the servant to let him in and came down from her room in main hall
A tall man entered the mansion with dark long hair, wearing a grey suit.
"I am here to pick Ragini up" he spoke.
"And you Are??" asked Anika
"I am her brother...Samar" he replied.
"Oh Okay well they're not back yet. You can stay here if you want to wait for them. Although you didn't have to come. Shivaay would have taken her home" Annika told him and prepared herself to leave when Samar said
"Shivaay?" Samar raised an eye brow looking at Annika "I know that Mr. Oberoi doesn't allow anyone but family to call him by name and I have never seen you before. Are you an Oberoi???"
Annika remained quiet and turned to leave when he stopped her again "I am Samar, Samar jeet malhotra" & he extended his hand.
"Annika sirf Annika" Annika shaked his hand quickly. She wanted to leave from there before everyone returned. This is already a torture and she can't handle more drama...
"Annika your name sounds familiar...Are you shivaay's wife? I mean soon going to be Ex-Wife" Samar said the last line mockingly. Annika looked at him coldly and moved to leave. Her silence was his answer and his cue to continue...
He got up and stood in front of her not allowing her to leave
"You Are!!!! I can't believe it. The Shivaay Singh Oberoi that believes in the power of Naam,Khoon,Khandaan had married a girl without a last name. Rumors were doing the rounds that Shivaay never announced his first wife's name or status as She was everything he was always ashamed of. So everyone thought Shivaay will be on cloud 9 once divorce happens but he looked depressed and cold. Now i see why..." Samar came close to Annika while his smirk continued to widen...
He already knew about Anika being Shivaay's wife and was just acting here and he continued his act... He was enjoying it.
"You actually made an ediot of Shivaay Singh Obeori...Well done" he started clapping while still laughing in the same irritating way.
"I always knew Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi was weak at heart. Apparently not just physically but emotionally too... What did you do exactly to make him trust you? You must be hell of an actress...well do--" a slap echoed in the room and at the same moment the family members entered Oberoi Mansion.
Flashback ends-
While Annika's eyes were spatting fire like an angry dragon, Samar stood there shocked for a couple of seconds...
Samar's shock started to boil into anger as he started screaming while approaching Annika
"How Dare you?Don't --" but a hand stands in between not allowing Samar to continue further. It is Shivaay. Shivaay pushes Samar away and stands between the two with his back facing Annika...
"What did you do Mr. Malhotra?" Shivaay asks gritting his teeth
"What did I do?? A lower middle class girl like her...how dare she?"
"I didn't ask you what her background is. I asked you what did you do?" Shivaay asks with a little high tone. Annika's eyes moistens as She looks at Shivaay...
'He's not cold' thought Anika..
A small smile adorns Annika's lips as She kept looking at his back.
Samar glances at Shivaay's angry face before he looks at Annika. Her face is glowing with different kind of elegance as she keeps looking at Shivaay
So he looks at Annika and says
"So that's what you did. Not bad" Samar's voice wakes Annika from her trance while Shivaay don't understand what Samar means so he turns to look at Annika to see what Samar means..
Annika composes herself and looks at Shivaay coldly. Shivaay don't miss those tears in her honey orbs
"She's crying????" he thought restlessly
She glares at Samar before leaving the hall but Shivaay needs to know what happened. Why is she crying? Since she returned, he and annika has been having cold wars but not for once did he see tears in her eyes.
"What happened? what did that idiot say that effected her that much?"
Shivaay follows Anika in a hurry while his mother keeps calling him. He needs to know what happened first everything else can wait. He catches up to Anika fast as she was walking like a ghost
Shivaay asks her to stop but she doesn't listen. He keeps calling her and when he don't get any response he reaches to her, holds her arm from behind and turns her to face him. Only to be shocked to see red shot eyes and a stream of tears falling down wetting her entire face...
He stood still for a second before he reaching out to wipe her tears while asking in a worried tone..
"What happened Annika?? Why are you crying?? Were you scared by seeing him in the house since you're alone?? Please stop crying and answer me" Annika shoves his hands in a cruel way and looks at him sternly while tears continues to flow down..
"He didn't so anything Shivaay...You did"
Shivaay looks at her surprised "What did I do??"
"Nothing" Annika wipes her tears again and is about to leave when Shivaay stops her
"Do not walk away while we're still talking!!! What did i do??"
"You were always ashamed of our marriage weren't you?? That's Why you moved on so quickly with a girl that had What I didn't have Naam, Khoon, Khandan. You wanted this relation to break and that's why you were so eager to sign those papers and --"
"Just STOP IT ANNIKA" Shivaay screams as his eyes spat fire and his face turns red with anger
"I wanted to break our relation?? If you don't remember I had prepared a mandap because I wanted TO REMARRY YOU... WITH ALL RESPECT... WITH YOUR APPROVAL"
"I was always an open book to you Annika. You knew everything about me, about my Naam, Khoon, Khandaan ideology yet you stayed. You agreed to give me a chance and I worked so hard to get over them and that day I was going to call for a press conference and announce to the world that my wife is Anika, sirf Annika and I am proud of her & I wants my future to be only with her but apparently I didn't knew that she had a different future in mind"
Shivaay's voice shivers at the last lines but he composes himself. He promised himself that he will never fall weak again ...EVER...
"I extended my hand to you Anika that day but... but you walked away. You broke my trust that day Anika" says Shivaay in a voice laced with hurt and pain...
"If your trust was strong enough then a single act wouldn't have --"Annika stops suddenly as she realizes what she just said
"ACT??" Shivaay looks at her closely before he could say anything Pinky called out for him. When he turned back to look at annika she was gone. He sighed in annoyance before
He went to his mother with one idea eating him ...
"What act???'
Back in the hall :-
Ragini is standing near her brother acting teary eyed while looking at Pinky
"Look at what that girl did to my brother?? How dare she?! what does she think of herself?"
"Calm down Ragini that girl is a musibat that keeps going around my son. Don't worry that girl will pay for this for sure" says Pinky.
"We should know what happened before making her pay...don't you think?"Shakti says eyeing Pinky angrily.
"I know lower class girls like her Shakti Ji. She'll do the mistake then start crying besharmon ki tarah to hide what she did" says Pinky moving her head sideways in arrogance.
"Who better than you know about this kind of tricks Chhoti maa" Rudra said glancing at Pinky in disgust before pinky could say anything Jhanvi looks at Samar and asks him
"What happened Samar?"
"Why are you asking my brother aunty?? You believe that shameless girl and you want to blame my brother??"
"Speak with Respect Ragini..vo ladki jiski tum baat kar rahi ho wo is ghar ki bahu hain" says Dadi angrily looking at Ragini.
"What Bahu Mummy ji? She and Shivaay are divorced and Ragini is iss ghar ki bahu now's" Pinky says smiling victoriously correcting her dupatta.
Dadi doesn't say anything because Jhanvi answers at her place
"Not Yet. You're maybe choosing to ignore this but Shivaay and Annika are not divorced. The judge gave them 3 extra months to reconsider their relation, to be back together. The only reason this engagement is happening now is because you blackmailed Shivaay into doing it and whatever you never know what will happen next moment, not only you no one knows so don't be over excited over this thing... Everyone knows that Shivaay have no feelings for Ragini so whether you like it or not, till these 3 months are over, Annika is Shivaay's wife and the daughter in law of this house and till she is...NO ONE...NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TALK TO HER WITH DISRESPECT"
Jhanvi Says the last line in a stern tone while glaring at Samar and Ragini
Pinky looks annoyingly at Jhanvi before turning back to Ragini
"Don't Worry. Shivaay must have gone to do her Oh my mata"
Pinky calls for Shivaay. In a minute he comes there looking lost thinking about what Annika said sometime before...
"I hope you showed that girl her real place" Pinky says proudly looking at Shivaay. Shivaay looks at her irritatingly before he looks back at Samar
"I don't know what happened but I'll let it go as you are a guest of this house. The next time YOU THINK of talking to Annika. You'll find me in your way and I won't be this respectful" Shivaay says coldly giving dead glares to the brother-sister duo.
Pinky's face pales while everyone else smiles looking at Shivaay.
"Oh my mata Shivaay... You believed that girl again. That girl that insulted your family and your brothers and brok--"
"STOP IT MOM. She didn't say anything and she doesn't have to...We'll talk about this later"
Ragini looks irritated and leaves with her brother before the problem become worse. After they leave, Pinky starts her ranting again
"Oh my mata Shivaay...you --" before she continue Shivaay leaves from there and OmRu follow him. Shakti comes closer to pinky holds her hand in a strong grip and gives her death glares
"You already made a big tamasha at the party. Let's go before you get yourself more insulted... You have done enough" says Shakti Before Shakti drags her to their room, Tej stands in front of pinky and says "Do not repeat what you did today with Mrs. Avantika again with anyone at the engagement party or any other occasion especially in business related parties... Do you even know what impression it may have on her??... We have an image to obtain and we can't have you ruin it with your nonsense"
Everyone leaves including Shakti punishing Pinky with the way that hurts her the most...leaving her alone.
At the pool side:
OmRu are setting quietly at the edge of the pool with their feet's in the cold water.
"Both of you are uncharacteristically quiet" comes Shivaay with a smile & joins them
"What happened? Why are you both upset?"
"You're acting like you don't know Bhaiyaa. You always bring Dracula and let them free in our home" Rudra said pouting
"Dracula...?" Shivaay raises an eyebrow then frowns when he understands what Rudra means
"He's right Shivaay. Don't you think you're rushing this engagement? You're not even divorced yet" Om says.
"And How is that my fault? That bloody judge refused to budge. It's like someone has convinced him that this divorce shouldn't happen. He kept making excuses at first then he gave that God damn decision... If I find out who is instigating that Judge and giving him enough courage to refuse Shivaay Singh Oberoi, I'll make their lives a living hell" Shivaay says gritting his teeth remembering how the Judge refused any sort of compromise or a way out of this mess.
OmRu looked at each other and gulped hearing Shivaay's words
"He's going to kill us when he will find out," OmRu thought in their minds.
"& what is wrong with Ragini? Is your problem with her or with me remarrying in the first place
" Shivaay says giving a suspicious look to his brothers
"Because for some reason you both still want me and Anika to get back together which reminded me. What the hell is the problem with the both of you?? That girl insulted dadi. She talked about division of house & family and yet you two are still calling her Bhabhi ... What is wrong with the both of you??? Huh?"
Shivaay says frustratingly. Every time he remembers that day his blood boils with anger...
"Just how could she say that? How could she ask to break the thing I take most pride in? My family...
OmRu stay quiet. What are they supposed to say ... Tell Shivaay the truth?? They promised their bhabhi to never tell Shivaay anything... but now came the time they both were scared of...When Shivaay will ask them face to face... They tried not to make it obvious how much they still care about...
"I asked the both of you something ... Why are you still sympathizing with her after everything she did?"Shivaay asks as his anger increases by the minute.
"Because whatever she said, she said it for you Bhaiyaa" Rudra says but Om put his hand on his shoulder to shush him
Shivaay's heart flutters
"Could it be real?? The doubts that have been growing in me since the day she left...that maybe...maybe there was something that caused her to do this"
"What do you mean?" Shivaay asks as his eyes glittered with hope, his stomach dancing at the excitement of what may come and for once his heart was feeling anything but pain. He could feel his heart pounding so hard in his throat...
It felt like a suffocating person in a locked room who just saw a shadow from underneath the door... His heart too embraced itself for the loads of fresh air that will sooth its pain
"What he means is... that she was thinking about you...you work a lot for this family and for us...you do nothing for yourself...so what she said was for you" Om said with a low tone taking brakes in between trying to be normal and cursing himself for being part of this lie and for agreeing to Bhabhi's promise.
It felt like a bucket of cold water has fallen on Shivaay... His heart went numb.
"Is it still beating?? Shivaay thought before that familiar pain came rushing back..."Yup it is...& it's not going to leave me in peace
Shivaay composes himself and looks at Om straight in the eyes "When Riddhima helped Bade papa in making you sign the shares papers. You broke up with her saying that she helped bade papa in his attempt into building a wall of gold between us brothers although whatever she did, she had you best interest in mind ... yet you broke up with her that day... How is this different??"
"She was my girlfriend not my wife" Om says hesitantly
"So would you have forgiven her for what she did if she was your wife?"
Om looks shocked at Shivaay now he's stuck. What is he supposed to say now... Since he didn't want to lie or at least didn't want to lie about anything else other than that day. He did the only thing he could do... He avoided eye contact with Shivaay.
Shivaay wanted to add more about the secret of Om's birth.
"What is theirs excuse for that?" but he didn't want to hurt Om by bringing up such a sensitive topic and that too for this reason he thought this matter should only be discussed when Om feels like it
"You did the same Bhaiyaa this evening with Samar. Didn't you believe Anika bhabhi instead of him?" Rudra says trying to change the subject and save Om from further questioning
Shivaay gets lost as he remembers
Tears
"If your trust was strong enough then a single act wouldn't have"
An ACT!!!
Something is wrong somewhere... Something doesn't fit in this puzzle... My brothers... Her Tears... Act... Something is missing... But what could it be exactly??
No Shivaay...You've gone down that path before, did you forget what you found?
After a month of that hideous day, Shivaay kept feeling his heart rebel at him all the time, doing its best to distract him from whatever he was trying to focus on
Om's health, Rudra's sadness, work, his mind used to resist it with all its might but the heart gets what the heart wants even if what it wants is attention...
His heart kept aching for no reason and at sudden occasions its beat increased like he's running a marathon...
Then...then the turmoil of his heart and mind started
"What the hell do you want?" Shivaay's mind screamed as Shivaay rubbed his chest to sooth the burning fire in his heart...
"Annika"
Even thought of her calmed his heart immediately...
"No...Not again ... listening to you has gotten me in this mess in the first place ...Stop thinking about her... She's gone... She broke everything... The girl that thought of everyone but herself... She asked to divide my family... How can she change so much?? Were those months all fake??
Was she just taking revenge for whatever I did to Sahil or threatened to do...but I did try to make it up and I thought I was doing a good job at it...
But no...This was all about revenge I threatened to hurt her brother so she hurt mine... She was just a devil in an angel disguise ... she's---"
"Annika"
"Yes...it was all about the money
"I thought it was about revenge"
"umm...yeah..that too
"It can't be both...for revenge she would betray ... but wouldn't she get more money if she stayed here"
"ummm...well she wanted the money and to get to live her life freely
"Wouldn't she have left you to die?? Wouldn't a widower get her husband's shares and money and that too without having to do so much tashan for it? Yet she saved you whenever a threat was near"
The heart was slowly winning the battle ... when this conversation became one sided...it continued
"You've always said that you want to know everything...That's how you are...so why not now? Prove me wrong...I've never been wrong when it comes to Annika...but you always ignored me
& today I challenge you...I challenge you that She cares...All was not a lie"
" If she cared you wouldn't be here...broken...& left to pick up your own pieces like you mean nothing to her...what you are being now is what you're known for..An emotional fool. You think if you were important enough she would have left??
"She must have a reason...She--"
"Annika is a fighter and I respected her for that... She fought for everything that mattered to her..Self respect... Her brother...for a good life...She didn't even get scared of Shivaay Singh Oberoi when it came to those things.
Even if she does have a reason.. She chose the easy way out... She chose not to fight for you...she didn't want to fight...maybe YOUR emotions were not good enough ...YOU WERE NOT GOOOD ENOUGH...YOU didn't matter enough
A person only gives up on the things that he/she can live without... She gave up on you while you're here playing Devdas with me

With that the long turmoil came to an end... The heart and mind that has been fighting for the past month BOTH HAVE accepted the challenge... Both accepted to give this relation a chance to be saved.
End of flash back:-
Shivaay comes back to reality when Rudra yells "cockroach" and tries to stand and run but ends up slipping into the pool...
Shivaay and Om looks at Rudra shockingly then they laugh out loud when he immerses from the water with the cutest pout a 21 years old can have... then HE started laughing like a child
Shivaay just looked at his brothers smilingly... He's punishing Annika for breaking them... but they don't seem to be that broken
"Whatever she did. She did it for you"
"A single act"
