Hi All!
Watched yesterday's episode precap and this popped into my head. So here it goes, first story in IB ! Please let me know you thoughts :)
Oberoi Mansion (Shivika Room)
*After Anika brings in the house papers and starts staying at the house. A few days later*
Anika walks into her room exhausted, the past few days had been mentally draining for her. To top it all off she had to constantly see Pinky Aunty fuss over that Nagini, sorry Ragini!! She could see where the issue was heading, Pinky Aunty would looove to see Shivaay with that 2Rs cheapdi! As if her days were not the epitome of happiness and contentment, she did not see Shivaay for more than 5 minutes in the past few days.
The last conversation she had with him was when she came back into the house, it almost killed her trying to act so indifferent and selfish, when she could see flashes of anguish on his face. He practically made himself Mr India after that because no matter how long she stayed back or how early she woke up she never saw him. Looking around their room, she still saw traces of her here and there, a bright cushion, a pom pom laced throw rug, her bangle stand on their dresser. But it still looked empty, the walls looked glum, gone was the glow of their cheeky camaraderie they shared. She missed it, and it was times like these when she wondered, she did really do the right thing but leaving Shivaay to save him from the pain of knowing the truth of his birth. For someone whose whole life depended on NKK, who had to painfully change his ways for her. Could he bear it? That his very own birth is something he staunchly looked down upon at once. His foundation, his very existence would be shaken up. But then, what if he finds out through someone else? All this pain she had to put him through, is it for nothing? She could not make up her mind.
*Another place*
Shivaay was walking down the corridor, he was beyond exhausted, he hadn't known good sleep since three months. He was mentally drained and was on the verge of giving up and just talking to her already. He was avoiding her like the plague! He had a glimmer of hope when she came back, but as soon as she started speaking to him in that indifferent voice, he could not take it. The first time she spoke to him and his family like that 3 months ago, he had a heart attack! LITERALLY! Its taken him all this time to come to terms with Anika 2.0 and he is STILL not over it. God Forbid he had another conversation, he wouldn't know where he is going to end up. He glanced at his watch and decided it was a fair time to try and get some rest. She still wouldn't be up at this ungodly hour. Just to be sure, he walked up slowly to his..their room. The light was off and there was a blanket covered lump on the bed. Leaving a sigh of relief, he walked in to change, careful to not turn on the light or make a noise. A few minutes later as he was leaving with his pillow and quilt to sleep near the poolside, the light was turned on.

He didn't have to turn around to see that she was wide awake and obviously in a mood to speak. He slowly turned his body around. He was a little thrown to see her expression, she was fuming! Anika had enough, she knew he was purposefully trying to avoid her and she wanted some explanation. "Why are you trying to avoid me so much Shivaay?" she asked. It was Shivaay's turn to be pissed off now, how could she even dare to ask him that question after everything that happened. "Are you seriously asking that question Anika? After hurting my feelings, insulting my family and leaving me alone on a day that was potentially a new chapter in our lives? Three Months!! After three months you decide to rock up again as the new owner of my house apparently, with new cash that your so called ''khaandani naam wala fianc" blindly gave you! You did everything you wanted to do, you wanted to leave me you left, you wanted to move on you did, you wanted someone rich so you got engaged. Now dear ex wife, after all this you still expect me to not avoid you and what? call you for dinner and breakfast everyday? No Anika! I will not let you control Shivaay Singh Oberoi's life. Things are not going to happen the way you want them anymore."
"But Shivaay.." Anika protested. "No Anika! You have lost that right! you cannot question me anymore, we don't have that relationship anymore. You left me Anika! Always remember that!" With that he strode off. Anika crumbled again, if only she could tell him. No - she didn't want to hurt his feelings. No - she didn't want to insult his family. HELL No - she didn't want to leave him not on the day that was a new chapter in their lives, she didn't want to leave him ever! The guilt had been eating her away for the past three months. She was hiding it well at the OM but she was as broken and messed up as he was. She was about to salvage some soul and move out of the city when OmRu told her that they shouldn't have listened to her. When she realized what a shell of a man he had become, she couldn't stop herself. Disgust or hate, whatever it is, she was going to get him to start feeling again. The old SSO will be back and Anika was prepared to do whatever it takes. But first she made a call - Khannaji!
