PART 1-
Shivaay pinched the bridge of his nose between his fingers, sighing in frustation at the intense migrane occuring in his head. It had been a horrendous week. The stocks of the oberoi business had taken a hit and the stupid investors of the company were taking recoils, shivaay'd had to spend hours in boardroom meetings over the last week, convincing them and repairing the stocks that finall stabilized. On top of all that, matters werent any better back at oberoi mansion. Bade papa had started subjecting the family to svetlana excessive presence. This had taken the toll on Badi maa, who had taken up the bottle again- seeing his parents at the same situation again Om had lost the little mental peace shivaay had worked for years to achieve. A few days ago shivaay had received word from his security that om had met a shoddy person and a fear had established in the back of his mind of om restorting back to his old poisonus addictions. In the back of his mind, he worried day in and out for his Rudra. He was sill innocent, he worried of the mental state of that poor child. To top it all off, Tia had become almost unbearable, her presence seemed to further aggravate the already present disturbances in the family. Dadi's smile dissapeared every time tia touched him, rundra scowled at her voice and his mother beamed whilst badi maa frowned. Shivaay sighed again, reaching for his painkiller bottle, popping a couple in his mouth and sighed as he waited for the pain to dissapear. As he closed his eyes another face flooded betwee his eyes. Hers. Annika.
Ever since that fateful day when he'd married her, it was as though something had died inside her. Gone was the happy, smiling, cheerful, tadibaaz annika he'd fallen so hard over. Now the woman he saw everyday was a silent, douless reflection of her. The hazel lifeless orbs only exhibited that lively joy when sahil's letters would arrive once every week from his boarding school. Shivaay made sure to personally collect those letters and hand them to her, only to witness the momentary glow on her face as he handed her the envelopes she desired. The two of them lived in the same room, were legally married, yet barely a few words were spoken amongst them. Annika followed all the duties of a wife, she spent all her days trying to keep the frayed oberoi family together, but shivaay somewhere deep down yearned to have his paanika back. Shivaay sighed again, reflecting on the broken aspects of his life, his shoulders felt weighed down with the burdens of a family. He loved them all, but he was tired, tired of always being the one responsible, the one who had to deal with everything. Just then shivaay phone buzzed and he picked it up.
"What! Ok, inspector I'm on way! He exclaimed, allready in the car, speeding to the police station.
