Edited - I felt Gul IG post caption about intezaar and imtehaan was meant for Shivaay. Hence felt that he knew before 3 months lapse that reason behind Annika's behaviour.

There has been zilch growth because she still lives with her past - she has not even attempted to move forward. That is my opinion though.

Same To Same(aww now I miss Anika now 😆)... Chalo.. at least we agree..😆 However, I feel in the pre-shaadi episodes at least she was learning about herself.. I was discovering something about her.. What are her opinions about love, family, life etc.. How she also tries to escape from realities/truth.. Her first mini realization that she is falling for Shivaay is still one of her most impactful scene, IMO. But then they just stopped exploring her.. 😭

In the last 300 episodes, was Anika ever at fault? Has she done anything wrong according to you ?

LOL... Na... Just trying to relate to/ understand Anika.. 😆 I adored both these characters at a time.. BUT now I'm mostly lost when it comes to Anika..

After this discussion, I realized the fundamental difference is the way I perceive characters and judge them... For me, each character has an array of thoughts/reactions/expectations and a thought/emotional process - based on their experiences - what they have/will perceive from their environment AND then they have a set of choices at each juncture... And I judge them for 1) the choice that they made 2) the impact it has AT THAT TIME.. 😆 3) The impact of this choice in the future and how it helps the character grow is a different story & should/will be/is judged separately by me.. 😊

You are making me open a topic that I am not yet prepared for because I have very little ammunition to prove my point and I am going to be bashed by the Annika fans. This question should have been asked after the re-marriage track when Annika's past demons start rocking the marriage but sigh!!

LOL... Even in this Anika's past demons track, I have a feeling Shivaay would be the one being blamed for everything and judged because CVs won't ever let Anika take the fall - NT track was an indicator.. 😆 BUT I will be very happy if I am proved wrong! 😳

I will give what i have which i will admit freely is not enough because again this has mostly been about Shivvay till now because of the NKK being addressed.

*SIGH* I would have loved a few Anika centric tracks here and there in these 300 episodes.. Anyways, I'm going to stop cribbing about this now 😳
So here goes:
1. At the temple - there was no need to interfere. Frankly the people standing behind Shivvay did not give a damn that he went ahead of them = Annika was not even in line ...lol 😆
Hahaha.. Good start... Semi-Agree... 😆

Now People won't like this .. But even Anika has her own set of prejudices... She judged SSO here by just one action.. and she has done this a few times later on as well..
Also, her NKK matters to Anika as well.. that is why it hurts her - when Shivaay used to bring it up(even casually at times - cheque scene).. or if he starts exploring her NKK(her fear of losing Shivaay due to his NKK hangups is another reason)... The difference is she generally does not judge people due to it.. BUT she did judge Shivaay because he has NKK... 😆

2. I am not going to list them but I am sure you are well aware of all the times she interfered in the Oberoi and Shivvay's issues with Tia. She should have mentioned it to Om, Rudy and Dadi and left it to them to solve. She was like a 'dog with a bone' and it was none of her business.
Hmmm Agreed... She did interfere in his life.. She couldn't help it 😆... She enjoys pulling his leg.. enjoyed the back-forth they had.. 😆

3. The engagement to Daksh was and will always be my biggest beef with her. She did not think it through that she had a little brother who she was responsible for and her rash decision would affect his future. She never bothered to find out anything about him and said yes because she was reacting to what Shivvay said to her. Quitting the job would have been a more sensible way to make her point than getting engaged.
Here I very openly admit that by forcibly marrying her Shivvay actually saved her (said so in my SS as well)

Thank You!! Same to Same!! You know what when Anika bought up Tia topic in last week's episode.. I was like.. people(even Anika) forget she was also engaged to Daksh.. If her wedding would have preponed unlike Shivaay, the story would have been different..😆 Shivaay has till date not conforted Anika about this.. Actually, no-one brings up Anika's flaws..*SIGH* Shivaay started talking to her about some of her underlying issues in the past few tracks(NT, jungle) BUT then this separation came..

4. Post wedding I was the one asking that she not even return - forget walk out. But the reception was the clincher for me that she wanted deep down to be married to this man. So all that she put up with/ from him was what she willingly decided was what she wanted (except for the Pinky crap). Hence the 'eyes wide open' statement in my post

Yup... Agreed... 😆 I went on a vacation after the forced wedding and the precap I had watched was Anika back in her ghar.. And then I came back and Anika was talking in OM and was talking about MS/Sindoor.. I was like HAIN? 😕😆

5. Twice she reacted when it was completely unfair to Shivvay. Once after the kul gothra puja when she walked out to Chanda's house and next when she blew up on Shivvay about NT without giving him a chance to explain. Both times she was wrong.
Phew... Atleast you agree here.. And I guess this was one reason why I liked some of these track(again jungle track) before this separation... Anika was being semi explored! 😆

I am not going to comment on the present track because of my theories and views on the story line and why I feel it is going this way. So I will stop here for now till you here from me again about Annika. I promise to PM you first. 😉
