If she does not turn out to be his birth mother, his bigger blow will not be the NKK, it will be digesting the fact that she never really and truly loved him. It had all been a sham and a farce right from childhood. How do you recover from a shock like that one and learn to trust your mother again??!!
Because of what she is attempting and risking in her blind hatred she will end up being the loser no matter how this turns out in the end. Annika does not have to separate her from her son - she is doing a damn good job of doing that all by herself with no help from Annika.
I know that Kamini is not the mother of Shivvay & Mahi because of the spite and hatred she feels for them and the Oberoi's. Her insulting and torturing Mahi has been indication enough of how she has enjoyed hurting and causing him pain ever since he was a child. It was just to enjoy feeling that revenge was being meted out everyday to an Oberoi and he was helpless,alone and at her mercy. No mother would do that especially with a 'love child' as she claims they are.
As for Pinky, I think she and Shakti have been fed lies by Kamini, and Dayee Ma was probably witness to this. Maybe that is why she too assumes that the child is illegitimate. What Pinky is doing is going to cost her the real son who she was told had died. I think the switch was made to place a dead child with her while both boys were spirited away and then Kamini gave back just one.I think Annika is going to stumble upon this truth in her attempt to meet Dayee Ma and speak about Shivvay and Mahi's birth. She will end up proving that Shivvay is indeed Pinky's son but it might be too late for Pinky by then.
In the end lets focus. What this track is all about?
Is it about ShivIka really and the progression of their relationship?? Do they need the separation for a realization to come about??
No, not now at this stage. A few months ago I would have said yes but at this stage it will do nothing to add to the growth in their commitment.
Is Annika leaving a good thing then??
No!! It is not, because as far as we can see they are in a good place.
Not only is the NKK resolved where she is concerned but the 'mother of my children' has resolved as well.
Were those not the last 2 barriers in making this relationship move to the final level??!
So check off NKK and Check off Mother of My Children and what are we left with?? Nothing ! That is exactly what we are left with. Nothing!!!
Nothing to keep them apart anymore š So this separation, if it happens, does not make a single damn thing change between them. All it will do is cause heartburn and heartache but there will be nothing else that will change because ShivIka is at their peak.
Now we come back to what the track is and has been about since his announcement at the BOTY award. It is about Pinky , not Annika mind you but Pinky.
How does Annika leaving help with solving the Pinky turning dark and ruining her sons life track?? Answer, It does not.
With Annika gone from the OM, Pinky will have no need for any more manipulations, plots and tricks. She will not be seen threatening, blackmailing or arm twisting anyone with her vile and devious ways.
In fact happy with the knowledge that Annika is gone she will be back to the doting, attentive and affectionate mother she always was. Shivvay finding out about her truth will be at 0% because he will have nothing that will be amiss or wrong happening at the OM to even stumble upon the truth. He will blissfully believe every word his mother tells him and blindly follow all that she asks him to do.
Also if Annika leaves does it not mean that Pinky continues to manipulate and ruin Shivvay's chance at happiness??!! Is that really a track that will sell and draw in TRP's??
So the only logically track would be that inspite of all her attempts at trying to irritate and anger Shivvay so that he throws her out Annika still remains at the OM.
Pinky's threats and blackmailing increase as the three days are up and it reaches a point where she hits the axe on her own foot. While she is threatening Annika to either leave him or face the consequences of him being told about his illegitimacy, she is over heard by Shivvay.
Imagine that you hear your mother say that with her own mouth about you and then when she realises that you have overheard it she tries to convince you that it is not the truth - any child at that point will think that you are lying to him because the truth was now spilt unknowingly.
Once recovered from that blow I can see the Vanvas track happening. I have said it is going to lead to a separation but of Mother and Son not ShivIka.

On the flip side , if Annika were to leave that would be fine too as this would mean that she is out of this whole plot and dynamic between mother-son.
If she is there she will try to patch them up and stop Shivvay from leaving his Family and his responsibilities. In that case Vanvas and him finding his true self will not happen.
The point I guess of this post is that this is being viewed and projected as a ShivIka separation because that is what brings in the TRP's but in essence it is about the final NKK wall coming down.
