So like Shivaay, he totally zones out everything when it comes to business and as he said he was not answerable to anybody before so he still has to get use to it and Anika understood. Its good how they understand each other and try to sort out issues. Their bond is going to be strong

I wanted to keep my version of their first date unique! I know some other stories have a perfect, grand date, but I felt that Shivaay and Anika are not yet at that stage in their relationship! there's still a long way to go and they still need to learn a lot about each other. hence, why it had a twist. I still wanted them to enjoy their time tho!

and yes you're understanding the other thing that I'm trying to establish! Anika is still very new to Shivaay. He hasn't really ever had to care about anyone else besides himself and his family! So, he's slowly learning that he also needs to think of her and consider her. I hope I got that across. I'm going to explore this more in the next chapter!
