Good to see SSO is back from wherever he had taken a vacation to. I was missing him since the day he let Tia and Mrs. K walk away with just a slap on the wrist and absolutely nothing else. That day he was a greater Dayawan' than Om has and will ever be and a bigger Saint ..lol
I have still not forgiven him for it...lol...
So now that we have Mere Shivvay & SSO happily learning to co-exist with each other I am feeling much better.
We see that a "Sweet Singh Oberoi' has emerged and developed over the past few months now and it is no longer a battle anymore between the two inner men as to who should dominate. They are both learning to co-exist with each other with the understanding that both need to survive in order to move forward from hereon.
The Sweet Singh Oberoi needs to surround and wrap his wife with this boundless love that he holds in his heart for the ones he loves and nurture their marriage in order for it to grow healthy and strong. While the Shivvay Singh Oberoi part in him tackles the world at large in order to surround this very marriage and wife with the impregnable 'Great Wall' that he protects her behind. That is the shrewd, cold, ruthless and dark man that you do not want to cross.
She has become more important to him ...as if part of him.
And how beautiful is that to see!!! Neither had to die for the other to live and grow. Thank you Harneet for making my wish come true and showing us that. Shivvay Singh Oberoi is who he is and losing that side of him makes him lose his very identity that we know him by.
So now there is an 'Annika's Shivvay' (Mere Shivvay) - the sweet, gentle, caring, supportive and over protective grizzle bear who shields his own from all pain and evil. But with this man, being who he is, and his role as a loving husband you take it up a notch from the usual possessive husbands that you would find.
His "Na tum us jaisee ho, na tum uski beti ho! Tum sirf Meri Ho! ... Meri!!! ... Meri Annika Ho tum!!..." says it all.
Very possessiveness of her.
His reassuring forehead kisses have become a norm in his life as if it is the most natural thing for him to do when he needs to kiss all her fearful thoughts away. It is as though his magic kisses are full of the bright shining light that dispel the dark thoughts which torment her mind and her soul. He does it will full authority and the rights of a husband assuring his wife that he will 'Kiss It and Make It Better'.❤️
He is more physical in displaying hie love/ right on her, than Anika. ...That too when he has not fully accepted her (NKK being the hindrance) ... imagine what he will be like once he accepts her 100%. He might not be in a position to keep his hands off her. 😉😉

At this point, I do have to say, what I always doubted would happen if Shivvay ever found Annika's Family or Parents. Shivvay would feel insecure, jealous and possessive about the fact that he now has to share Annika's love, attention and time with someone else other than him. That, as far as I can see, is unthinkable for this man who has ultimately found the one thing that belongs solely and completely to him. He is a ferociously and ardently a possessive greedy man when it comes to his relationships so why then would it be any different for him when it comes to the love of his life??!
He is 'Selfish Sing Oberoi' when it comes to her.
He is possessive about his brothers as well but then they do not, in essence, belong to HIM. They will have spouses and their lives with them but with Annika it is different. She belongs only to HIM and more so now because he just found out she is an orphan.
That is the reason he has started calling her 'Meri Anika'.
He has been and remains the center of her world and existence since Sahil has been taken under his wing and protection, She eats, breathes, lives, dreams and even imitates Shivvay to a certain extent. She has truly become his half just as he has become hers.
I think wanting to dig into Annika's past is going to make him realize, post NT, that he is better off not finding someone else to share her with. It will give him an insight as to how things will be once she does find her Family and the adjustments he might have to make when it comes to him solely monopolizing her life. But that is a discussion for a later date.
Now we come to the SSO inside him. The box of Annika's childhood memories, the blood test and now admitting (in future episodes as we will see) that she is indeed Annika's mother, is SSO in action.
As we piece together clues from the past two episodes and today's as well, we see a pattern emerging where Annika may be in on part of his plan but not all of it. I think Shivvay is keeping most of his cards very close to his heart on this one because for him this whole Annika's background is becoming a touchy and delicate subject. Not because of the NKK, which he does still care about to a certain extent, but more because of the fact that it is his wife that someone has targeted now.
So he gets the report where it says that she is not a match and it is clear to see that it is actually the real report because it is the back up' of the one given by the doctor himself to Khanna. Then Khanna brings the CCTV footage where the clip is grainy and he already has a boss who is not too happy with his slip-up'. He knows where Mrs. ASSO is concerned this man is very very particular and he has managed to irk this boss already. He has to make this right and fix this for him.
Annika calls and Shivvay is happy because all her fears can now be laid to rest. He had made good on his promise that he will fix it all but then he gets another phone call. His tone when he answers his phone the second time and his, " Kya!! Kya keh rehe ho tum!" with sheer disbelief in his voice can only be a conversation with Khanna.

So maybe Khanna does a little magic of his own and manages to see something that is kinda a clue to the person's identity in that clip (it is possible to do that with a grainy picture if you have the right tools). He knows it might be bad news and the boss won't like it but he has to let him know the truth and then decide for himself.
Shivvay's body language and shocked look cannot be because he was told that NT is Annika's mother. If it were so, he would be surprised at the most and then realize that the report may have been tampered with because of Khanna's carelessness. Or question himself how this is possible and then with a determined look decide to get to the bottom of this. But at no point would he react the way he did.
The reason being firstly he is holding the true report, secondly he has already mentioned in the beginning (before Annika disowned her) that he has no issues if NT was really her mother and thirdly, he trusts Annika's gut instincts and is aware that DNA reports could be tampered with (from his personal experience). So the reason for his look of sheer disbelief could only be that his own mother is behind this whole mess and public humiliation.

If he lies to Annika about NT being her mother it will only be to get to the bottom of what the truth actually is. If he brings NT back it will only be because NT probably told him out of spite that Pinky hired her. If Sahil is kidnapped it is again because he has planned it with NT to get to the bottom of it all because NT may be a Bar Dancer but I think has more heart than Pinky has.
That is the SSO we have been missing, the one who is more action and less talk. Pinky's days as a mother are numbered because NT is out for blood now. What she did to her was very humiliating and disgusting just from one human being to another.
