That is exactly the 'maine theek kiya na?' I was talking about as well... you noticed it as well right??
It was like she was testing him, somehow waiting and hoping to see 'Her Shivvay' so that she would be relieved that he is safe.
You know the call she did not take when she was walking to her room to get the 'Kangan' ... I think she took the call in her room when he called back because a different Annika walked out after that. This Annika was still unsure if what she had understood was correct - that Shivvay was kidnapped and there was a fake one in his place.

Annika knows he is a fakester and is playing his game but as an opponent...😊

And don't u think the kangan scene is actually an unreal story..because both reacted differently as opposed to how they actually behave...i don't know i felt the difference in the way shivaay spoke ...
Annika's reaction was 'bang on' but Shivvay leaving it to only putting on the 10 crore 'Kangan's' without getting something out of it was hard to digest from this 'Chichora Piya' 😉

It does appear like they want us to suspect that Annika is on to him, and is playing along to get to the bottom of it. The way Annika was stepping up to give her bangles, when no one else was saying a word to salvage the situation.

DSSO realized that everyone was expecting him to have a reaction, and he was delaying as he wanted Pinky's izzat to be damaged as well. Sneaky and vindictive.

The way she pointedly asked Shivaay if it was worth 10 crores seemed like a leading question, which he was expected to say yes to. And those Kangans do also look like the ones Dadi gave her at muh dikhayi just before all hell broke loose, when Oberois found out it was her not Tia that Shivaay married.

Just like last week's hug scene, this kangan scene appears like as though it isn't real .😆 .. I hope you appreciate the irony. I'm gonna play along this time and see where this goes.

Perhaps Saumya is baiting DSSO too, because she saw him come out of Pinky's room, and he did drop the keys then. Now Saumya is asking around with the keys and going to Pinky. DSSO would have done well to just keep quiet and lay low. I mean who was going to suspect him, SSO of all people? They would call up all the workers and get them interrogated right?

DSSO flusters easily and I really hope Annika finds out soon enough. Instead of calling I wish the real Shivaay had sent a message to Annika, so she can read it and get help to him without raising suspicion of the duplicate.

Maybe that is what happened. It was a message not a call and that is why Annika it probably confused Annika as well.

Love your theory Pearl, it would be awesome if Annika could get to the bottom of the scheme with her smarts. But I figured she would be really really upset and anxious if she knew Shivaay was held prisoner somewhere.
I am sure she would have been when she first found out ... and if she has realized that he is being held somewhere all the more reason to keep calm because if she lets on they might even kill Shivvay. We may see her crying in private but like the ML it might be left for us to figure those things out ourselves.
