I don't know exactly when. But from the beginning shivaay keeps talking khoon khandaan so ppl always felt he might not be khandaani. Even i thought so since it will be dramatic if he turns out illegitmate or not khandaani. Around that time only fans kept assuming that shivaay will be illegitimate and that time gul denied that strongly. She said that would defeat the purpose of track itself.

The no way Shivaay can be legitimate, it'll be the biggest blooper of them all, after all we are repeatedly told how Pinky carried him in her womb all these episodes 😆

The only thing I can think of is that Shivaay is not a "true oberoi" ...for all we know, he could've been switched as a baby, ( another of Daima's secrets) or Shakti's spurned lover or Oberoi enemy switched the babies and the true " shivaay is else where"

and it all seems like a stretch but you never know
